This ones a heck of a specualive investment but it seems that the institutions are willing to stomp up the cash to back it in the long term.

MEDICAL MARKETING Joint Venture

We recently highlighted Medical Marketing (MMG) as worthy of attention. The company, in which I have a personal share holding, has this morning announced the formation of a joint venture, Genvax, to develop a novel DNA vaccine platform technology.

Human trials have been underway since 2001 in areas such as Lymphoma and Myeloma but the technology has broad applications in cancer, viral and bacterial infections (hence the term platform). The technology works on boosting the immune system by teaching it to identify hard to recognise cancer proteins as foreign and destroy them. Early results from the 25 patient trial in lymphoma are encouraging and evaluation of the result is expected by March 2005. Successful results should mean big pharmaceutical groups will start to take financial and commercial interests around that time.

This looks to be the first of a series of announcements due from Medical Marketing as it has a range of predominantly cancer trials moving into the clinical stage. (news flow could push the price higher)

The stock has made good progress in recent sessions up to the mid-80p level where the company is valued at just under 40 million. ENDS.

I dont have the info but if I was trading I would be buying.
If the news is not good we would have seen some serious selling by now, RNS or not news filters out.
A poster on another site called MMG and was told that RNS is being prepared for release today.

Someone from ADVFN phoned the company and spoke to their PR dept. Being prepared right now. No release time I bet's it after the bell.

If that would be advfn, I would not take much notice.

That site is full of rampers and idiots.

The chances are that one is being prepared, but no one on a bb would know for sure.

To be honest I will be happy if we finish the day as is.
The reason I have been stuck to the screen the day is the fear that there would be a minor collapse on poor news or even good news that was not spectacular. I was ready to top chop.
I was intending to sell half my holding as after no selling and accumulating for five years I think I deserve a treat.
BUT. as is I am holding. I would love to see consolodation at this price.
