PDX is still moving

In HPD (the AIM listed gold explorer with interests in New Zealand, Canada, Chile and Argentina) I detect "definite signs of accumulation" -- the old ones are the best

Re my earlier posts about Thus and Cyprotex.

Am now out of Thus at 23.5p having traded it up from 12p odd taking profits along the way. May consider re-entry long if it hits 26p on very good volume, however am wary of pull backs as this has come a long way up from 5p.

Am still in Cyprotex unmargined, am prepared to hold on.

Unlikely to be taking any new positions now until September on penny shares. Best of luck all

Now is the time to get in at ground floor level....WIGMORE PLC, this company has huge potential and very profitable. Check out their web site www.wigmoregroup.com They have many contracts in the pipeline and any win will increase the share price. They have just obtained an contract for 2.5m with SCOTTISH & NEWCASTLE to build a Premier Lodge at Heathrow 133 bedrooms, Rest, and bar facilities plus all ground work. This is a gem of a company and now is the time to by. DYOR and check out their web site.

The HPD chart does not look like much, sagged from 14p flotation price and found a floor around 10p. However this gold exploration co., a spin-off from Brancote, has various projects on the go in New Zealand, Canada, Argentina and Chile.

Here is a crazy idea I have. I would only write it on this site which no-one reads anyway. From a recent Mineweb article about Meridian Gold, which bought Brancote for its Esquel project in Chubut province in southern Argentina, but project currently totally stalled due to local opposition:

http://m1.mny.co.za/MGGold.nsf/Current/4225685F0043D1B285256D6C007F8DF6?OpenDocument

"Rumours have begun to surface that Meridian may be considering selling a stake to a partner. An analyst who asked not to be named said an empowerment type partner, i.e. an Argentine investor, who could front on social issues to allow Meridian to operate the mine, might be a good idea.

Company spokesman Wayne Hubert said the company had no interest in selling off Esquel either in whole or in part."

Meanwhile, HPD has a joint venture with the local Miguens-Bemberg family, called Patagonia Gold. Anyway they would be in the frame wouldn't they? Just a thought.

Another potential partner would be Anglogold which has worked with Meridian in North America, and operates a successful mine Cerro Vangardia in a neighbouring province.

Tip of the week would be Retail decisions...!

I mentioned them at 4p...but there was little concern at time...now 11p and moving gracefully...target would be to see them at 14-15p from here on, plently of serious buying going on and there is hint of a huge US contract win...

dyor...as always...

hamlins - 29 Jul 2003 14:42 - 83 of 150

DTC something definately going on.Highly speculative ,but looking at the fundamentals,it has steadily been rising. If rumors true of a big contract, this one is surely going places. If brave, dabble and wait!

FFA has doubled in the past 2 months (up 50% in past two weeks). It might pause at this level, but possibly still worth a look.

draw?period=6M&action=draw&startDate=31%draw?period=1Y&action=draw&startDate=31%

Also OCN,TTH(very iffy this one),SPS(more deals in the pipeline this year following the Siemens one),PTS,CEL,ITL,JCR (to hold onto if it breaks past 18p),MUS(if it gets out the right side the bed when it next wakes up),HVE(to hold onto),ITH,MFW(to hold onto unless imminent results say otherwise!). And SOG depending on results next Monday (not Tuesday as listed).

I have holdings in all the above.

Just one tip.. MMG...the biotech incubator with a portfolio of biotech bio-babies each with the potential to explode upwards..and guess what they are valued at zero on MMG's books..market cap is 10 mills.

Juzzle - 31 Jul 2003 19:43 - 90 of 150

At 8.5p quite a few people taking a renewed interest in Scipher (SIP) this week. Don't know if it'll come to anything. Needs to get up past 12.5p to really look good. The market was swamped with extra stock recently, but that seems to be absorbed now? Maybe.
