CMS Webview What is the potential for this share ? (CWV)

GEOFFREY.R - 01 Nov 2003 16:46

I bought shares in this company at 4.5p in September 2003. I see they are rising. Can anyone tell me please the growth potential for this company as they have just been awarded several new contracts ?

However i expressed an interest. If enough private investors show an interest then the may be persauded to broaden the offer.Unlikely but you never know.

Lets face it, if they can raise the 2.5, then there is some serious confidence in the product and the company. What's wrong with raising funds for expansion. Yes it may dilute the price, but most companies do this at some stage to move them to the next level. This stock is dynamite and may open up significantly higher on Monday.

boroboys - 28 Nov 2003 18:00 - 713 of 1924

2.5m that is!

thestatusquo - 28 Nov 2003 18:01 - 714 of 1924

Dont doubt there's a growth story, boro.

Just trying to differentiate between investment potential and speculative froth!

I'm a little confused. We all knew CMV was out raising funds. I assume there is a very good reason that this RNS comes out before ProphetX etc contract news.
Investors a lot wiser than me knew they were out doing their presentations to investors - why is this RNS being reacted to with an almost "I told you so" stance? Is it bad news? Does it definitely mean that the price will drop significantly on Monday? - I thought that CMV, its institutional investors as well as we private investors would want to ensure that value in the company is retained - but what do I know, and I'm not being sarcastic - a little knowledge can be a dangerous thing and I definitely put myself in the "little knowledge" drawer. Looking forward to receiving feedback especially from you Sue

Listen, the city is not going to give CMS 2.5m on speculative froth! they will want to know there are contracts on the horizon, and the money is necesary to shore up their balance sheet so they can deliver the projects/products. At the end of the day it ain't a huge amount and if succesfull, bingo were off, especially if the announve one or two new contracts.

momentum - 28 Nov 2003 18:10 - 717 of 1924

May be there is no news. Institutions will want them as cheap as chips.

boroboys - 28 Nov 2003 18:13 - 718 of 1924

If there's no news/or rather no story/potential they wouldn't even bother to try and raise the cash?

momentum - 28 Nov 2003 18:22 - 719 of 1924

Agreed but i would have expected so news with the rns. This will create uncertainty. As investors second guess the placing price. I cant see the instititions wanting to pay much more than 10p.But if they have a fantastic growth story to tell then they may be clambouring over each other to obtain a stake. Lets hope the offer is well oversubscribed. AS you said 2.5m is not a vast sum of money.

momentum - 28 Nov 2003 18:25 - 720 of 1924

Mind you its quite a lot when you have a market cap under 10m

"...and the money is necesary to shore up their balance sheet so they can deliver the projects/products. "

boroboys, I think you are wrong there my friend. The company already moved into the black this year.

The TDI software product already exists. It is already available. Its reliability already proven. Success already delivered.

Monies raised from the proposed placing are simply to market the product in the US.

boroboys - 28 Nov 2003 18:55 - 722 of 1924

even better then

Global Nomad - 28 Nov 2003 19:37 - 723 of 1924

well i'm happy to get a balanced discussion on the board and some of us are clearly taking fright at the past few days falls. I was unfortunate/stupid enough to top up at the recent peak of 19 and which means the bid is fast approaching my 13p average. I will be watching carefully on mon. to see the market response to the news. I would agree that some contract news would be welcome now.

In any case the new shares will be offered at a discount to todays closing price, no indication of what value discount might be. Has anyone any idea whether a 33% dicount ie 10p price is likely or something much less. Can someone clarify what the dilution will be - if the market value is 10m, the 2.5m represents 25%, does that imply our shares will be diluted to 80% of current value before any movement in share price?

If i sound confused, well, maybe I am. Its the largest investment/gamble I have made on a single share and its beginning to make me nervous....

Global Nomad

Remember the RNS said UPTO 30 million new shares

The number of shares actually allotted under the Proposed Placing may be
significantly less than 30,000,000, depending on, inter alia, levels of demand
and the subscription price agreed with new investors

So could be significantly less.

This share could go either way on Monday or all over the place.

Cheers

Martin

Sue

You still alive????

SueHelen - 28 Nov 2003 22:25 - 726 of 1924

Hi all, been away at university today hence the absence today. I regard the fundraising as welcomed news as I was expecting it before I receive the contract news and the very soon note by Corporate Synergy. I am still holding my full holding. Nothing has changed for me with the RNS release today. Nothing at all. I was very clear with what I was expecting and waiting for two more releases during December.

Best Wishes,

Sue.
