THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Vicky,

Read into the cartoon what you wish!

I think your last statement is an inversion of positions.

However, I wonder sometimes if Dumbo is projecting his own fears.

"Read into the cartoon what you wish ", what's the point it's a waste of time ." I think your last statement is an inversion of positions ", where were you in the war Bletchley Park .

I went to a recording of QI this afternoon. There was Frankie Boyle, Ross Noble, Lucy Porter, Alan Davies and Sandy Toksvig instead of Steven Fry. It took about 2 hours to record the quiz. They edit it down later. It was at the London Studios on the Southbank between Waterloo and Blackfriars. It was very entertaining including plenty of stuff they couldn't broadcast.

Cameroon wont survive the vote, whatever way it goes.

I suspect he already has his ticket booked for the sunlit uplands of €uropa.

VICTIM - 25 May 2016 08:13 - 71286 of 81564

Fred1new - 25 May 2016 08:47 - 71288 of 81564

MaxK - 25 May 2016 08:56 - 71289 of 81564

VICTIM - 26 May 2016 11:18 - 71291 of 81564

Has anyone any views or experience of using E-Bay , either buying or selling ,would appreciate , Thanks .

Haystack - 26 May 2016 12:06 - 71292 of 81564

I have used it regularly over many years. I have never had any problems. Try and stick to sellers who have had large numbers of positive feedback. Set up a PayPal account as it makes selling much easier.

VICTIM - 26 May 2016 12:10 - 71293 of 81564

Oh Thank You .

iturama - 26 May 2016 12:28 - 71294 of 81564

Agree with Hays. I don't use Ebay much these days but never had a problem that was not resolved.

I guess you have all seen this:

Britain's ability to control its borders has taken centre stage in the EU referendum debate after new figures showed net annual migration running at 333,000.
The Office for National Statistics (ONS) said the difference between those coming in and leaving the country in the year to December was the second highest on record, and up 10,000 on the year to September.
Some 184,000 of the numbers came from the EU during the 12 months, up 10,000 on the equivalent for the previous year and nearly half the total.
The headline figure, the last to be released before voters decide whether we should cut our ties with Brussels, is more than triple David Cameron's target of a maximum 100,000.

So much for government targets and projections - not worth the paper they are written on. No doubt the spin doctors will be out today saying it would be no different if we left the EU. They have already been on saying that most of the net increase was non EU. They must think we are all thick and can't do our sums.
