THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

You play the market

That seems to be betting!

-=-=-==

I think being sensible on this thread is becoming very difficult.

VICTIM - 27 May 2016 16:41 - 71315 of 81564

With the severe obesity problem we have in this Country a good walk around a car park might be the only one some people get.. I say ban these gadgets -):

JUTLAND COMMEMORATION
corbyn bunks off on holiday to miss this
does it matter?

Fred1new - 28 May 2016 09:16 - 71320 of 81564

No.

But the Con party's press and other idiots will probably try to make something of it.

Fred1new - 28 May 2016 09:20 - 71321 of 81564

Typical Con artist standards.

cynic - 28 May 2016 09:23 - 71322 of 81564

that was easily predictable

out of respect to the fallen of both sides, and another reminder of just how awful WW1 really was, then i think corbyn needs to be reminded sharply that he sees himself as the potential leader of a country, and not just his isolated far left clique
personal politics should assuredly have been set aside

Fred1new - 28 May 2016 09:24 - 71323 of 81564

Manuel.

You do post Bs sometimes.

Fred1new - 28 May 2016 09:45 - 71325 of 81564

.

cynic - 28 May 2016 11:33 - 71326 of 81564

at least it's only sometimes and not all the time

purposely absenting himself from this commemoration service will reflect badly on corbyn among a large portion of the public, and thus by association, on the labour party itself

Fred1new - 28 May 2016 12:41 - 71327 of 81564

It is almost as new in the mind as Adam meeting Eve!

aldwickk - 28 May 2016 17:04 - 71328 of 81564

Mr Miliband also told BBC Breakfast that polls suggested younger people were more likely to vote to remain in the EU by three to one, and that older people should "heed the wisdom of the young".

What a tosser

cynic - 28 May 2016 17:22 - 71329 of 81564

i see fred is starting to sound like eric cantona ..... just as meaningless soundbites, but unfortunately without the entertainment value

Fred1new - 28 May 2016 17:24 - 71330 of 81564

Or perhaps your inability to understand is showing!

Could also be revealing.

Chris Carson - 28 May 2016 17:26 - 71331 of 81564

Alders, what do you expect from a man who can stab his own brother in the back.

As for Corbyn probably best he stayed away he would only have lowered the tone, scruffy bastard. What a shower the Labour Party has become under his so called leadership. Bring back Kinnock eh Fred? at least he only made a twat of himself falling in the sea :0)

iturama - 29 May 2016 10:02 - 71332 of 81564

Bravest thing Corbyn did when young was to dip his little wick in the hippo from North Hackney.
But don't be surprised by his behaviour. It's what he is. He was put up for leader as a joke and it backfired. "We want change so lets have someone who is totally unprepared, scruffy and a bit idle. That will sort the Blairites out".
Happens all over. Only have to look at that lot in Brussels, or Strasbourg, or Luxembourg, or wherever they are free-lunching today, to see people that are also totally disconnected from reality.
