Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

is it me or is level 2 very slow and near impossible to switch between stocks??

edit: getting better now.

I believe there Is (and has been) for a number of days now on ISF a problem from MAM suppliers.

On Stockwatch the "change" heading In ISF should reflect one tenth of the SP movement as should the % also.

Instead under the change heading It reflects the SP movement! as It does under the % heading.

I have just checked this and I have the change as 23.5 and the % change 3.85 which I have crossed checked on another feed, and that also shows these values.

I am afraid that that is the way that our system, and it would seem other systems out there treat this ishare. We do have seperate calculations for ishares

I have also checked on the London Stock Exchange website, which is showing the same change and percentage change as us.

But this Is a dramatic change In the calculation (10 fold) as a report to Stockwatch, are you saying that this Is a legitimate change and not a mistake?

The LSE website is showing the price, change and percentage change as that - as all our prices are essentially from the LSE and my cross check with a seperate supplier to us has shown the same figures, then I have to take that as the correct value.

Yes I agree and understand what you are saying and of course I'm not blaming anyone at MAM, but this change Is enormous and without announcement to the market (unless I have missed It).

Just wonder If It's a case of the "emperor's clothes" by everyone?

Stan We are at a bit of a loss to understand the issue on ISF.

The stock is correctly priced as we far as we can see. It was at 610 yesterday and today is at 632, thats a 22p increase or a 3.85% change. Can you explain why it should be a tenth of this.

Because as I said above the usual movement of ISF Is one tenth of the actual SP movement and not the actual SP movement which Is now the case.

Stan you have lost us on this on. The ishares website shows a NAV of 6.26 , so the current share price at at 632p is pretty close to the NAV. The level 2 for ISF shown below shows the correct 22.75p movement. Maybe its just become more volatile than normal, though the history also below, shows it does move around quite a bit.

Don't dispute any of that BS but it's not the way that ISF has been reported In the past.

I am going to ring the LSE and find out what Is going on and why. Sorry for taking up so much time on this.
