Time now for all us Wiggins watchers to move with the times and start using Planestation, the new company identity. The name Wiggins Group plc has now disappeared from the database at Companies House and Planestation is now listed on the LSE website.
So fellow travellers, forget Wiggins, the name of the game is now PLANESTATION. Lets hope it goes like an express train.

An interesting development if it proves to be true. IMO any volume of traffic for manston in the short term has to be good news.
With regards to your oher thread - BBs the double edged sword, this share is a classic example of people with other agendas. I am not referring to this board where i believe all postrs are genuine investors but on ADVFN where you have 3 types of posters: recent investors, long term investors of when it was Wiggins, most of who have lost a lot of money and people who live close to the airport and hence want the company to fail as they dont want to live on the flight path. If you are thinking of investing in PTG there is a lot of history from the old Wiggins days, through the refinancing and then the ousting of CEO Oliver Iny to he recent deal with EUJet. Currently the company is undergoing a lot of change and is very difficult to value fundamentally. Putting a value on some of the assets (airports, LFG, london city etc) is very difficult and the company is currently still loss making and buning cash, which will need to be offset with asset sales (LFG should hopefully be completed soon). The strategy of May is still not overly clear and the dismissal of Iny still needs to be fully ratified.
I invested when the shares were about 4p on the basis of undervalued assets and continue to hold as I still feel they are undervalued in the long term. The success of manston is going to be key to turning the company profitable and this will be a huge challenge, though if successful will see a huge increase in the shareprice.
Hope this quick summary is of help to you but as usual DYOR, especially with this share!

Many thanks for your view, I bought PTG a while ago at just under 5p, I had made my mind up to sell sooner rather than later as I cannot see the SP rising in the short term, although long term may be a different story. I'll wait and see what happens tomorrow and decide then. I can perhaps but back in later.
Thanks again
regards

MANSTON FLIGHTS SELL OUT A MONTH IN ADVANCE
Flights from Manston airport with EUjet are selling fast, with some already sold out.
Spanish destinations and Dublin are providing the hottest among passengers, with a number od dates fully booked.
other destinations such as Amsterdam and Prague are near to capacity.
With just under four weeks until the first flight takes off, Manston is preparing for the influx of passengers.
The new car park opposite the main terminal is almost finished and the departure loung and bagage reclaim have been refurbished ready for the thousands of travellers who will pass through the airport.
EUjet will begin with 20 flights a day, rising to 30 in October and 45 by March.
Managing director of EU jet's UK operations Mike Halper said: "Some flights are doing better than others. The earlier you book the cheaper the flights are...We are well ahead of our target and everything is prepared. The first week is pretty full generally."
EUjet's maiden flight leaves Manston for Dublin on 1 September. The first cabin crew trained by EUjet is to graduate from its course in the next few days. The airline has employed 60 stewardesses and stewards to look after passengers travelling to destinations such as Dublin, Malaga and Amsterdam.
Mr Halper said:"We are running three courses and the first two are for people with no experience of airlines. They are mainly local people from Thanet and Canterbury."
People will be able to buy tax-free products from the in-flight boutique. Mr Halper said:"We see ourselves as Kent's airline. We are getting support from the people of Kent and that's all we can ask for."
He warned people to book now for flights at Christmas.
Note
I've not seen this article myself but the poster on another BB is normally very reliable.

PTG promised a statement on Liverpool development, I think it was to have been made in June 'due to speculation in the press' was the reason for the intended of the announcement. Seems to be blowing in the wind at the moment. This lack of communication could well be part of the cause of the stagnent share price, apart of course from the general market mood.
I will look forward to September then Hotrott

Not one single definate buy trade logged today, that must be somewhat unusual. However on the plus side the price remained unchanged. If these sells are going to the MM's/brokers they must be happy to take some stock on board at the price.
