Theres a man outside the cafe from the council, he wants to know if we have a late night licence. The neighbours have been complaining about the noise from popping corks into the wee hours.

stockbunny - 04 Jun 2004 11:58 - 7166 of 23498

Good Morning!
My goodness the late hours being kept in this place currently
DONT YOU PEOPLE SLEEP?????
Now the bunny needs her sleep - rarely gets as much as she would
like (due to the noisy pissed lowlife that passes the warren late
every night) but nevertheless she needs her sleep and is tucked up
by 11.30 at night. How do you all manage to stay up 'til gone 1am?
Well I'll take my hat off to you (if I was wearing one) and whatever
you're taking to keep you so alert I'll have some please!!!

Opto - the bunny's time on here is limited this week due to extreme
pessure from the bunny who's off school. Have to share, after all he was
bought up to and it would be a bit naff if having promoted sharing
I then did a 'politican' on him and changed the rules to suit me!!

OK Friday - so cef's got steaks of all descriptions and chips...
I'm disappearing now but will reappear again later this 'arbo

stockbunny - 04 Jun 2004 11:59 - 7167 of 23498

Edit....(Bunny what's a cef?) Opps CHEF!!!

snoball - 04 Jun 2004 14:06 - 7168 of 23498

Stockbunny, you don't use the 'Do as I say, not as I do' rule?
I used to use it all the time.
You modern parents are terribly kind to your children.

stockbunny - 04 Jun 2004 15:20 - 7169 of 23498

LOL Snoball, no I run a democracy with my kids...((they are both
considerably bigger than me anyway....could easily pick me up one
handed and deposit me in the wheely bin...these things have to be taken
into account my friend I assure you ((giggle))

So how is life in Snowie-land today?
Damn quiet in here today isn't it??

optomistic - 04 Jun 2004 15:43 - 7170 of 23498

Hi Bunny, it is quiet but now that you are here!!!!!!!! :-))
Keep an eye on junior bunny, may set up a trading account.

stockbunny - 04 Jun 2004 15:55 - 7171 of 23498

Nothing would surprise me Opto!
How's things with you today?
Nice sunny day??

optomistic - 04 Jun 2004 16:00 - 7172 of 23498

Yes great up here Bunny, cut the grass again and weeded (a bit) market looking better through my window today, how about you

optomistic - 04 Jun 2004 16:05 - 7173 of 23498

stockbunny, what a nice post you made on Croc's Thread, reflects the thoughts of all of us.

stockbunny - 04 Jun 2004 16:06 - 7174 of 23498

Yes lots of blue on the screen and nice to see it.
Fairly warm down here and a breeze which is helpful as the last
couple of days the air quality has been pretty awful, I'm not
saying there's good fresh air out there, but at least the fumes are
being stirred about!!

So what do you fancy on the dinner menu then?

optomistic - 04 Jun 2004 16:08 - 7175 of 23498

Dinner!!!! I'll have ago at anything, make it a surprise. Please :-)

stockbunny - 04 Jun 2004 16:18 - 7176 of 23498

Ok dinner menu.....for starters...

Florida Cocktail
(melon, grapefruit, oranges in kirsch with compulsory cherry on top)

Salmon Mousse
(with sliced cucumber)

Melon and smoked ham
(yes we did get a job-lot of melon this morning!)

Main courses:
Seafood salad
(the dieters special, it's a tiny salad only but you also
think you see-food...yes it's an old joke!!)

Courgettes and tomatoes au gratin
(the veggie special)

Grilled lamb chops with apricots
(For the meat-eaters)

Sweet:
Honey banana creams
(not for weight-watchers due to double cream)

Oranges in rum sauce
(Not for those previously pickled in booze from lunchtime)

Honey Cheesecake
(For the sweet-toothed or those who are past caring!)

optomistic - 04 Jun 2004 16:25 - 7177 of 23498

Melon for starters please, and could I have the oranges with kirsch (with cherry) for desert. Better go for that special seafood salad dont you think!!

stockbunny - 04 Jun 2004 16:29 - 7178 of 23498

No you don't have to worry about things like that - life is too
short and that salad really is tiny! melon and oranges are good choices
so you can afford to pile in some calories if you want halfway thru'.
Got to disappear for a while - the jungle drums are signalling for
bunny junior..........hopefully will be back!

Socrates - 04 Jun 2004 17:03 - 7179 of 23498

That's a good varied menu, I'll have that.

snoball - 04 Jun 2004 18:15 - 7180 of 23498

Good idea Socs. So will I. That cheesecake sounds exquisite.

Damn! Stockbunny mentioning grass cutting has reminded me I must cut ours.

Pity the game isn't still running, British Energy are doing well.

STORMCALLER - 05 Jun 2004 00:00 - 7181 of 23498
