Hillary Clinton was a better candidate at the time than Obama but since then she has gone downhillary. She was pulled out from Secretary of State because she wasn't very good, in fact useless, and her advisers didn't want her to cause any more damage before her presidential run.
She wouldn't be a good president but at least she would have people to keep her out of trouble. Trump is a loose canon.

Trump only won in the primaries for nomination out of the registered Republican voters who bothered to vote. It tells you little about the GE and the polls are probably more accurate.

I notice Hils has hardly been on here since she started her political campaign.

There is a very good BBC news program Hardtalk which you could watch on BBC iPlayer. It is an interview with a very respected Republican and speech writer for Regan and George W Bush. He said he cannot vote for Trump and gives his reasons. He is even considering voting for Hilary. His view is that Trump will lose badly and may damage the Republican party. He expects a very aggressive convention in Cleveland on 18-21 July.
