Lambykins's Dutch Coffee House - ADULTS ONLY (LAMB)

Spaceman - 28 Jan 2005 23:56

CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

hilary - 12 Feb 2005 10:20 - 717 of 24230

Does anybody still have a copy of the Torygraph from Wednesday please? If so, can you let me know the password for the Football Fantasy League for this week? It should be in the separate Sports Section somewhere.

My kids need to make a transfer before 12:45 today and I put our copy out for recycling yesterday morning so I'm in big, big trouble.

Spaceman - 12 Feb 2005 11:22 - 718 of 24230

Morning JJ, No luck with the afternoon snooze, I think I am just going to do without it for a couple of months. The only benefit I can see from working is that money gets paid to me for doing it, ther than that its a pain !

chocolat - 12 Feb 2005 11:23 - 719 of 24230

Can you make room in your bag for some proper Cervelatwurst please Spacie?
Oh and a couple of stacks of Esszet.

Sausages, Socks? I'll let you know next time I make a mountain of Frikadellen...they're even better on sarnies the next day.

I've got Thursday's, hils, if that helps.

chocolat - 12 Feb 2005 11:35 - 720 of 24230

Speaking of Thursday's, a couple of letters made me chuckle..

SIR - Bill Clarke is missing the point (Letters, Feb 8) when he writes about the "pointlessness" of MacArthur sailing around the world. Surely the point was that a French bloke did it last year - a bit slower.
Tim Palmer
Poole, Dorset

SIR - It has taken B&Q longer to install my 10ftx7ft kitchen than it has taken MacArthur to sail round the world.
Jackie Smith
Manchester

Chocolat, yes no problems, if anyone else wants anything form Germany post here and I will ensure that I pick up and infinte virtual supply while I am over there.

hilary - 12 Feb 2005 12:15 - 722 of 24230

Unfortunately not, Choccie, but thanks anyway. Hohumm.

jj50 - 12 Feb 2005 14:08 - 723 of 24230

Having lived in Bavaria for a couple of years, I
think the only thing I wanted there, was a ticket
home!

jj50 - 12 Feb 2005 14:17 - 724 of 24230

So Wales ahead at half time ..... Edinburgh
buzzing with Irish (hope its not too
humiliating!)!

optomistic - 12 Feb 2005 14:19 - 725 of 24230

Is it the cricket season already.

7thFloor - 12 Feb 2005 15:32 - 726 of 24230

Spaceman: My dad left a bit of his Lancaster over there. Sort of tube shaped thing with fins. I think it will have probably gone off by now!

Spaceman - 12 Feb 2005 15:35 - 727 of 24230

7thfloor, I will keep and eye out for it ;-)

jj50, I know what you mean, I am going to Koln which isnt exactly the nicest town in Germany!

7thFloor - 12 Feb 2005 16:22 - 728 of 24230

Spaceman How do you manage to monitor shares 'n stuff while you're doing - what was that phrase again? - Oh yes, work?
I tried to do a bit of that a while ago but found I was missing so much info and opportunities with the share trading. It simply wasn't worth it for me. There again you're probably paid a lot more than I was! :-)

jj50 - 12 Feb 2005 16:53 - 729 of 24230

7th Floor - I had the same thoughts!
Gone off the idea of "real" work - can't
afford it :-)

7thFloor - 12 Feb 2005 17:41 - 730 of 24230

"Real Work" - I tried it once but it didn't suit me! :-)

Spaceman - 12 Feb 2005 18:26 - 731 of 24230

7thfloor, I dont monitor them hour by hour only day by day and I dont have many at the moment!

MightyMicro - 12 Feb 2005 19:47 - 732 of 24230

Hil: I have Wednesday's Torygraph but I guess I'm too late. Sorry, didn't see your post in time. BTW, are you coming to the London Traders's Day with the false beard again this year?

Spaceman - 13 Feb 2005 07:37 - 733 of 24230

Morning All, Its Sunday and I am allowed a FEB today ....

Socrates - 13 Feb 2005 07:52 - 734 of 24230

Good morning Spaceman. I'll join you with an FEB. Lovely stuff.

I wasn't in much yesterday although I kept tabs on what went on, I was busy chasing ancestors around the internet. Surprising how elusive they can be.

optomistic - 13 Feb 2005 14:45 - 735 of 24230

Umh, is it the smoking policy that's keeping folks out? Anyway it does seem a nice quiet place to put my feet up for an hour. Before I do that I'll make a coffee and see what Bunny has left us in the fridge, or perhaps a piece of Priscilla's lemon drizzle cake, although it may not be drizzling at its best after a night in the fridge.

7thFloor - 13 Feb 2005 14:54 - 736 of 24230

Just you & me in here O? I've had the last of the lemon cake. Sorry!
