How would you like to trade a market where you get large regular price swings every 10 minutes in the afternoon, seven days a week. A
market where all prices are set purely by supply and demand, few transaction costs, no middle men and you only pay commission if you win? Where you can freely act as a market maker and where you have direct market access and where you can create a spread for others to take?
Betfair has revolutionised the betting market and created an open platform for exchanging risk on sports events. This market is now viewed much more like a traditional financial risk market than an old fashioned betting market. Smart users have realised that there are huge opportunities on Betfair because they can buy and sell risk in much the same way they would in a normal financial market but without the burden of cost or the restricted access that is usually associated with traditional financial markets.

with the snooker the longer games (ie upto 9 or more) provide good trading ops, however the premier league where it is 6 frames, win lose or draw provide huge swings but can be quite scary.
the frame by frame betting is good if like today the volume is high, however on low volume you dont get enough opportunities to trade out so check the volume before getting involved

Fundy, thanks for that, taking notes of those things for the future. I can see now
the advantages of the Pro platform so must get upgraded, being able to place limits with offset and trailing stop a big advantage for scalping

Morning all
England lost the toss and immediately used their supersub so its 12 vs 11 again. No early wickets so looks like we'll be chasing another big total

3 wickets now and looking good - made a nice few quid selling the spread so got some profit to play with
thought it was top 6 that qualified automatically

Pak 209 all out
much better display by England in the field though the pitch is definitely as good as the previous ones.
England price looks a little short with the danger of losing a couple of wickets to the new ball

Morning Steve
Finally managed to get online since Sat lunchtime!
We finally moved into the new place this weekend and BT being efficient as ever has taken over 2 weeks to get connected. Should be done in next few days. How long does it really take to flick on a switch!!
So, no line means no trading! Arghhhh!!
