If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!
Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.
The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.
This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)
If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

Happy New Year y'all! I hope you have the best yet.
I can't access news items or quotes from the stockwatch page; if this is a known item I apologize, recovering from 'flu so head is full of cotton wool!

Steve,
if nothing is happening when you are trying to access them, then this is consistent with a pop up blocker becoming enabled on your machine. These buttons work as pop ups, so you will need to have your pop up blockers either disabled or configured to allow this.

I had the same problem recently using Safari pretty sure I didn't have to have the pop-up blocker off previously and short of changing browser it is a nuisance.
Not saying anything has changed here as same is occurring at ADVFN but maybe it has in the browser in the browser or maybe my head is full of cotton wool too.
Just out of curiosity which browser are you using?

Safari NabCom, I don't know why but sometimes it blocks pop ups without me authorizing it to, although this usually occurs after a software update; I had forgotten that I did one recently.

Thought so, I am using Safari too, I am pretty certain now that the behaviour of the pop-up blocker changed in the last security update and that it shouldn't be necessary to deselect it as it should only block when pages load or unload not on user chosen clicks e.g. charts, trades etc.
Thanks

greekman,
There are no issues with stockwatch this morning.
If you are seeing the red x then it is java on the machine either being blocked or being corrupted. I know you say you have the latest java, but could you try installing again from the following link please?
http://java.sun.com/webapps/getjava/BrowserRedirect?locale=en&host=www.java.com:80
If this does not work, try a restart on your machine to clear everything down.

Update. Works with streaming off, but not with streaming on.

greekman,
thats because the streaming off function is not java it takes you to an HTML page - it is a java issue on your machine, try the things I mentioned in my last post

yeah sounds like Java was struggling to load on your machine. I would make sure it was updated if I was you anyway to stop it happening to you again.
