THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

No, some may be watching migrants drown in the med.

Talking about gunmen, does anyone else think this guy is just NOT quite good enough material to play the next James Bond?

Haystack - 23 Jun 2016 16:26 - 71846 of 81564

Is that a gun in his pocket?

iturama - 23 Jun 2016 16:51 - 71847 of 81564

Small one if it is. No chance of causing mayhem with that.
The star in The Night Manager was Hugh Laurie.
Done my duty for God, Queen and country. Also got walked by my dogs.

Oscar Pistorius deserves an Oscar for his performance. What a scumbag. He has even convinced himself that he is the victim. Lock him up and throw away the key, although I don't have much faith in judge Masipa.

Haystack - 23 Jun 2016 17:35 - 71849 of 81564

He won't get much of a sentence and they will take off his sentence for manslaughter then half of after that. He might do 4 years.

Led Zeppelin did not plagiarise the opening chords of the rock epic Stairway to Heaven from the US band Spirit, a Los Angeles jury has found.

aldwickk - 23 Jun 2016 19:53 - 71851 of 81564

I didn't like it anyway, i like good old rock & roll

Chris Carson - 23 Jun 2016 21:05 - 71852 of 81564

Best acoustic guitar intro i have ever heard in my life. Pity that is probably the best Led Zep could do. The rest of their music imo was painfully shite!

Funny enough ...bought a double album from them not long ago.....very imaginative .....some songs aren't too good...others are genius !......nice to listen to them after such a long time....

One week to go before Le Tour starts. One of the great events of the year.

cynic - 25 Jun 2016 17:50 - 71856 of 81564
