THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Cellar eh? I don't have that luxury but I do have a Liebherr vinidor. Nice job with separate compartments for reds and white. 18C and 5C. The overflow goes into the garage or fridge.

house was built with a cellar in 1846 ...... but yes, very lucky as the temperature and humidity is stable

ExecLine - 26 Jun 2016 19:03 - 71889 of 81564

We've looked at loads of houses with a seller, that were for sale. Bought quite a few of them over the years too.

Might have to carry me out of the present one on a stretcher. It's quite idyllicly located and only about 1 hr from popular cities and airports.

I find there is to much snobbishness about wines, thats maybe because
I rarely drink it, I'm a bitter drinker..

Fred1new - 26 Jun 2016 20:20 - 71891 of 81564

Yes!

iturama - 26 Jun 2016 20:22 - 71892 of 81564

No need to be bitter granny, we won the referendum. :) I must admit I prefer a beer at most times.

dreamcatcher - 26 Jun 2016 20:30 - 71893 of 81564

Fred likes a wine. :-))

cynic - 26 Jun 2016 21:35 - 71894 of 81564

71891 - every house for sale has a seller!!

grannyboy - 26 Jun 2016 22:02 - 71895 of 81564

iturama, yes maybe It should be Mild instead of bitter(not seen Mild for a
while thinking about it), or Black & Tan?..LOL!

ExecLine - 26 Jun 2016 23:36 - 71896 of 81564

But not every house has a lower floor storage place which is large, cool, dry and perfect for storing one's wine.

Haystack - 26 Jun 2016 23:42 - 71897 of 81564

Look at this. I know a director of Diageo who has one of these under the carpet in his living room. They come and cut a hole in the ground under your living room.

Obvious Fred likes a wine, Buckfast being his preference, judging by the shite he posts regularly on here. :0)

MaxK - 27 Jun 2016 00:07 - 71899 of 81564

Good Corby cartoon, but too big

grannyboy - 27 Jun 2016 07:47 - 71900 of 81564

I have a bottle, i'm no wine buff but on the label it says Vin-e-Gar, i've not
opened it as yet, might try it with a fish dish this evening!

VICTIM - 27 Jun 2016 07:51 - 71901 of 81564

Is that sour grapes granny , sales should take off now with the remain side and Freda .

grannyboy - 27 Jun 2016 08:12 - 71902 of 81564

I should imagine if i saw Freda's face, it would resemble a sour puss..LOL!

grannyboy - 27 Jun 2016 08:15 - 71903 of 81564

HAHa, yes you can always tell a guardian reader by their lefty bleeding
heart liberalism.

jimmy b - 27 Jun 2016 09:15 - 71904 of 81564

I wonder how hard they will hit house builders ,even if we slow down the influx of migrants we still need houses to be built ,could be some bargains at some point .
This is totally different to the 2008 crisis where houses are concerned .

TANKER - 27 Jun 2016 10:09 - 71905 of 81564

so we all know now that Cameron came back from is meeting in the eu with nothing because he as no balls is colours are yellow . he will go down in history as a coward ,

the government should now meet , because the result was nigh on 50%
it is not a mandate to leave the eu .

and all mps should now vote on the result all mps ,

we can not have a split country its not good ,

if the unions had a 55 48 vote they would be breaking the law to take action

we need to look at the result . and take another vote or mps decide

TANKER - 27 Jun 2016 10:11 - 71906 of 81564

I voted out but we did not win . 52 48 is not a win it as just split the country so we must cancel the vote and have a rerun and it must be at list 65 35 for a win
