THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

she lives a fantasy world why did she not deport criminals why did she allow ever one to walk over her . the woman is a threat to the uk

VICTIM - 01 Jul 2016 09:18 - 72118 of 81564

She was a bit held back by EU laws as regards criminals . the EU is the criminals friend really .

TANKER - 01 Jul 2016 09:52 - 72119 of 81564

so why did she vote to stay in the eu she is just a liar if that is the case

to vote in she agreed with the eu policies so by voting in ,makes her views now false and just lies
gutless and dishonest

TANKER - 01 Jul 2016 09:56 - 72120 of 81564

Lord Sugar on Gove's speech

Sickening B.S and wild promises coming out of Gove's mouth. There should be a law against false promises made by politicians.

VICTIM - 01 Jul 2016 11:41 - 72123 of 81564

Lord Sugar , where was he when Dave and Osbourne were making all sorts of false statements .

Haystack - 01 Jul 2016 11:48 - 72124 of 81564

Although I voted leave, I am not sure most of their comments were untrue. I found more untruths in the leave campaign.

grannyboy - 01 Jul 2016 12:49 - 72125 of 81564

You'l have to put up ALL these untruths that were , in your mind 'more'
untruths from the leave side, besides the 350 million pounds claim, which
even Nigel Farage said wasn't true...

Haystack - 01 Jul 2016 12:55 - 72126 of 81564

I am putting up with them. I expected lies from both sides. Luckily the lies from the Leave side were better.

Haystack - 01 Jul 2016 12:56 - 72127 of 81564

An ambassador is an honest gentleman sent to lie abroad for the good of his country.

That was said by Henry Wooton in 1604

grannyboy - 01 Jul 2016 13:12 - 72128 of 81564

I didn't mean 'put up' with them, i meant what were these lies you claim
that more was from the leave side?.

IE: as in the 350 million pound claim..

Haystack - 01 Jul 2016 13:24 - 72129 of 81564

The real problem with the Leave campaign was that they treated it like a GE. They made promises that they couldn't and won't be able to fulfill. It was as though they felt they were putting forward a manifesto. No government is going to spend extra money on the NHS out of the EU budget no matter how much it is. The money saved will go into general coffers. The Leavers behaved as though they would be the government if they won.

It looks like May will be the next PM and although she will take us out of the EU, it is unlikely that immigration will change and money won't be spent on the NHS. Most likely, we will may go into a recession or at least a downturn so the money saved on the EU will come in handy. It may mean less spent on the NHS. Any benefits from leaving the EU in the shape of trade will be slow coming. I doubt that we will see much benefit in less than 10 years and it may be more than 15.

The Leave voters were gullible to think that the Leave campaigners were going to have the power to do anything.

MaxK - 01 Jul 2016 13:39 - 72130 of 81564

On that basis Haystack.

you and your mates can look forward to being thrown out on your arse at the first opportunity.

Haystack - 01 Jul 2016 13:44 - 72131 of 81564

Not a chance. Plenty of Leave voters are regretting it already and 48% voted against it. That's plenty of votes. It is looking increasingly that in a second referendum the Remain side would win easily.

The Leave will get some of what they want but not much.

Haystack - 01 Jul 2016 13:44 - 72132 of 81564

.

Fred1new - 01 Jul 2016 13:58 - 72133 of 81564

Due to Cameron’s stupid actions, the UK will have to accept decisions made in Brussels by the EU and its remaining members and will have had no ability to take part in their negotiation of new rules, regulations, and relationships.

You can hear the calculators already working out the price, which the UK is going to be pay.

It will be seen history, as the result of the referendum in an attempt to save his own political arse. The referendum was initiated by the PM and other leading members of a sordid, tawdry, egocentric tory party and other political riffraff.

grannyboy - 01 Jul 2016 14:19 - 72134 of 81564

I thoght there wasn't going to be a second referendum...Are you saying
May is telling lies already?...

As to "Plenty of Leave voters are regretting it already and 48% voted against
it. that's plenty of votes."

And that's why UKIP won't be going anywhere...Its not unexpected that
we're seeing some back peddling...

Don't worry there will be plenty of voters to give the ruling elites another
kick up the fricking arse.......

grannyboy - 01 Jul 2016 14:22 - 72135 of 81564

Fred we don't want to have anything to do with Brussels, other then LEAVING.

Let them get on with further integration, if thats what they want, but
its NOT for the UK.....
