Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

Site stabilising after a few restarts. Proceed with a full reload of page 'ctrl + F5'.

Alex.

No rush, but would just like to know why about a year ago were site problems about a 5th or less to what they are now.
Can't view stockwatch, so giving things a bit longer to work before shutting down (again) and going out.
Once again appreciate the Tech team are doing their best, but something is seriously amiss here.
Not getting at Ian/Alex or team, just would like to know.

Alex(MoneyAM) - 07 Jan 2008 11:26 - 7254 of 7315

Thanks for your comment greekman.

Changes are being made to the architecture of the system as a whole, this has to be done at a slow pace/stages so as not to break it completely. I am optimistic with the next phase of system upgrades we will all begin enjoying a little more stability. I can assure you I am eager to get to this point!

The site is now stabilising after my juggling act. Please let me know if you have anymore problems.

Alex.

dell314 - 07 Jan 2008 11:30 - 7255 of 7315

Alex - I'm getting the Java failed red X on every attempt to open level 2 windows.
I've cleared cache, logged out and back in but I don't really want to risk a full shut down and restart for fear of losing what is still open and working.

What's the state of play now?
Are you still aware of problems, or should everything be functional again?

Level 2 prices different from stockwatch, looks like stockwatch prices possibly an hour behind?

Mick
