What have you been up to. I had to avoid an intergalactic hit alien from the planet Zurr on the way home tonight, funny how they all drive 4 x 4s isn't it.

dotel - 07 Jun 2004 19:00 - 7260 of 23498

little willie - 07 Jun 2004 21:50 - 7262 of 23498

Well I'm bloomin' kippered now as I keep my portfolio on Clems lot and all I'm a-gettin is 'unavailable' so YES Snoball, seems Lord Gnome is upset with me....

Wing Commander Socko is quipping 'What-ho' [be glad when his her-indoors returns to take him and his bloody 'old black spot' in hand.
I bet he rushes around Tesco pushing his trolley humming the Dambusters theme,
Wembley goggles over his eyes shouting "Angels at five o'clock, coming at you out of the sun; watch my tail!"

Wooden hill beckons, a very late drunken night/early morning last night so under orders to retire, away from this infernal machine within 5 minutes, g'night all.....fate worse than death and all that.....

dotel - 07 Jun 2004 23:14 - 7263 of 23498

I've come for my sausage, socks

Never lie to girls...

There was a man resting and enjoying the view on the beach. He saw a little girl coming toward him, so he covered himself with the newspaper he was reading. The girl came up to him and asked, "What do you have under the newspaper?"

Thinking quickly, the guy replied, "A bird." The girl walked away, and the guy fell asleep. When he woke up, he was in a hospital in tremendous pain. The police asked him what happened. The guy says, "I don't know. I was lying on the beach, this little girl asked me a question, I guess I dozed off, and the next thing I know is I'm here."

The police went to the beach, found the girl, and asked her, "What did you do to that naked fellow?" After a pause, the girl replied, "To him? Nothing. I was playing with his bird and it spit on me, so I broke its neck, cracked its eggs, and set its nest on fire!"

This is becoming a very bad habit, late again, got lost on that damned inter-dimensional contraflow. Still this time of night guess I'd better get myself a guinness, don't want to wake anyone.

STORMCALLER - 08 Jun 2004 00:16 - 7266 of 23498

That went down well... I think I deserve another, must try that 3 dimensional clover leaf GD does so beautifully.... no good at all, GD must be a magician, still shame to waste it...

STORMCALLER - 08 Jun 2004 00:26 - 7267 of 23498

This talking to yourself starts to get interesting with a bit of practice, wonder if I'll still understand what I'm talking about when lathered?
I'll have a large brandy, and 4 fingers of redeye barkeep!!

dotel - 08 Jun 2004 00:28 - 7268 of 23498

Somebody say something?

STORMCALLER - 08 Jun 2004 00:33 - 7269 of 23498

Dotel,
Now I'm ashamed!
Sitting here rambling to myself, didn't realise you had arrived, angels should flap their wings to warn us of their presence, may I attend you.

dotel - 08 Jun 2004 00:36 - 7270 of 23498

Yes please...don't think I'm up to it myself

STORMCALLER - 08 Jun 2004 00:38 - 7271 of 23498

After your kind attentions to me in the past, it would be a great honour.
How may I serve?

dotel - 08 Jun 2004 00:44 - 7272 of 23498

Any way you like ;)

STORMCALLER - 08 Jun 2004 00:54 - 7273 of 23498

My first opportunity to repay you, and I am undone, please try this sixty year old armagnac that I have reserved for a special occasion, no ice allowed, it must be sampled unbruised. And then to my shame I must leave, as I need to sleep, perchance to dream, that this moment may stay with me into my world.
Please forgive me
Goodnight
Regards
SC

Hi little willie
I can log on to ADVFN ok, but dont visit very often these days. I hope your sweet revenge runs better than sweetest revenge that lost at windsor last night.

little willie - 08 Jun 2004 11:23 - 7275 of 23498

Hi Buddy,
As you know my IT skills are shIT can't log on even onto their 'home' page so no idea whats wrong or how to cure. Maybe a caress of Mrs. lw's bum will get her to sort IT for me, even if that fails at least it will be a pleasure!!

So Phil the Greek didn't give you any nudge nudge, 'look here old boy' tips that did the trick. Shame that your not here.

We visited our Sweeties trainer, Glen Kotzen and his wife Cathy for the day yesterday, he has horses running today and tipped us his Lion of Damascus in the 13.00 and Arctic Gale in the 16.37 to win, both races at Kenilworth, Cape Town.
Check them out and see how they go.
We also like his Six Nations in the 13.30 owned by a friend of ours [good each way and likes it damp underfoot, it is].
In the 15.07 Sharlee Boy has a good each way chance, also Glens plus he has a long each way in the 14.35 Linneys Light and in the 15.37 my next door neighbour to be, in the new house is a UK chap called Lord Lilford who has a good horse called Chamonix which should win.

Chech it all out, interesting huh!
