THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Haze.

I hope Cruella won't do as much damage to society as the witch.

How many lives did she sacrifice on the Belgrano?

Something to be proud of.

and fred goes on his customary evasive defense .... pah!
time to stick him back in the compost bin where ultimately he may do some good

there is a definite whiff of manipulation or coercion in the sudden surge in labour party membership
was not similar seen when JC first came up for election?

MaxK - 21 Jul 2016 08:45 - 72793 of 81564

Indeed, lots of new proles coming out of the woodwork...a good thing surely?

But what of the Nu tory party, are they still haemorrhaging members?

cynic - 21 Jul 2016 08:50 - 72794 of 81564

no idea ..... i guess many are like me and just didn't bother to renew several years back

Fred1new - 21 Jul 2016 08:51 - 72795 of 81564

Nothing like the orchestrations by the tory party's masters, ie. the Mail, Telegraph, Express, Times. (The mouthpieces of puppet controllers.)

UMM.

that guy is taking a while to rot down

MaxK - 21 Jul 2016 08:55 - 72798 of 81564

The few I have spoken to will not be renewing their membership.

Basically, if they can elect a leader without the party membership getting involved, they can do without the party membership support as well.

Perhaps TM can turn the show around after Dave's depredations, but I don't think so.

Yes, she is attractive.

I can see Haze fawning on his knees for her.

jimmy b - 21 Jul 2016 10:27 - 72801 of 81564

This on'e much better

interesting that even the Guardian can't find anything polite to say about Corbyn at yesterday's PMQs ..... clearly even that staunch leftish rag has been infiltrated by the Murdoch Mob

grannyboy - 21 Jul 2016 11:14 - 72804 of 81564

No the guardian prefer champagne socialist to the 'real' socialist workers.

If Corbyn does win then the other 170 who expressed a no confidence vote
would have no other alternative then to split and start up a new party...

That's if all those 170 want to remain in politics...LOL!

cynic - 21 Jul 2016 11:24 - 72805 of 81564

i think polly toynbee would take some exception to being described as a "champagne socialist" :-)

Haystack - 21 Jul 2016 11:28 - 72806 of 81564

More a Prosecco Socialist

MaxK - 21 Jul 2016 11:28 - 72807 of 81564

Caviar socialist?

grannyboy - 21 Jul 2016 12:07 - 72808 of 81564

She just thinks she's a liberal bleeding heart do-gooder...

But she's been shy on inviting a family of immigrants to reside in her
home, unlike the fishstick Sturgeon and others, who said she they would
house an immigrant family, but has now gone back on those empty
words of concern, and instead would rather see the hundreds of thousands
of immigrant's housed where they're usually housed, in the middle of the
indigenous population..

IN OTHER WORDS.... NOT IN THEIR BACK BEDROOM!!!
