NETeller - NLR - 3.15
Thought i would start a new thread following on from
hawick - new issue looks very special - not to steal the thunder from
hawick but just to highlight the company name to those not already in to this
potential blockbuster.
Those of us who are following NETeller know the background and have been
active with postings, for newcomers i strongly sugest viewing the
( new issue looks very special posting )the content will speak for itself.
Brief overview of NETeller
The company handles online cash transactions across the globe
on 21st oct gained fsa approval to operate as a regulated e-money issuer
and will passport the regulated status to all 25 EU member states
it has over 1 million clients rising by 2000 number each day
1500 online merchants and processed over $1.5 billion in 2003
pre tax profit is estimated to be 29 million to dec 04 rising to
40 million next year
per currently 20 to dec 04 falling to 11.5 which is low for sector
brokers have been raising forcasts on a regular basis
share price has risen over 50% since launch earlier this year
new markets emerging constantly, asia has the potential for supergrowth
online casinos are creating enormous profits
given all this - cash generative - huge market - fsa approval
infastructure in place to handle growth, profits accrue to bottom line
the market force is behind it with good relative strength
all put together it is hard to argue against this has the potential
to be a blockbuster over the year ahead

I got out at 662p. I don't think I'll be out long though, but you can't buck the market and I'd rather watch from the sidelines for a while. The trouble is that the bounce could be quite fast and I may miss some of it.

Could this be some of the competition?
Datacash Group PLC
17 March 2005
DataCash Group Plc: DATA / Index: AIM / Sector: Support Services
17 March 2005
DATACASH GROUP PLC ('DataCash' or 'the Company')
PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENTS
DataCash Group Plc, the AIM listed payments service provider, has entered into
four new partnerships that will expand the reach of its services and strengthen
its position as a market leader in the UK for outsourced payment processing.
These partnerships have been formed with major companies who have a significant
presence in retail markets as hardware suppliers, integrators or point of sale
suppliers.
The agreements with four major firms where DataCash's technology assists in
speeding up transactions and curtailing fraud comprise: Multicom Products Ltd,
an eCommerce marketplace servicing travel customers; Smart Voucher, the UK's
leading supplier of online real time vouchers; TriRidium, a company which
handles payment card disputes with retailers; and Andromeda, a leading supplier
of EPOS (electronic point of sale) solutions.
DataCash CEO Terry Cave said: 'We continue to make strong progress in securing
a broad range of partnership agreements with retail orientated companies with
blue chip clients. We are committed to forming these alliances with major
players to offer alternative cost effective payment processing solutions which
increases our market reach, improves our competitive edge and boosts our
revenue.
'These companies have specifically chosen DataCash as we focus on our core
strengths as an outsourced payment processing service. We don't manufacture,
specify or procure hardware and therefore do not represent a threat to them,
merely a means of adding value to their own businesses through having the
ability to offer premium integrated services.'
The four new agreements are highlighted below:
TriRidium:
TriRidium was set up to devise a solution for retailers facing unnecessary
payment card chargebacks and write-offs. Customers include Argos, Woolworths,
and Homebase. DataCash has entered into a partnership with TriRidium offering
its TransTrack support and fraud protection system. In the past retailers have
been forced to enter into lengthy correspondence in the event of suspected
fraud. The TransTrack system reduces the time from weeks to minutes.

Gallick - you say Datacash are nothing to do with the gambling industry but I believe most UK bookies use them to transact the credit card deposits they receive, and that is big business for Datacash. On-line poker is a big grower for them. Anyone who uses a poker account deposits either with a credit card direct to the poker room operator (bookies and others) or through Neteller (and they have to deposit initially with Neteller at great expense from a credit card - hence Neteller's profitability - how long can 8% fees last when the market gets competitive?).

The UK bookies I use in the UK (and there are quite a number of them) will all accept credit/debit cards and pay money back to your cards. Is is only the American / offshore sites that usually will not pay money back to your card and often will not accept any transaction by card. That is where I have to use my neteller account, and as you correctly point out it costs to use it. However in all my card transactions with bookies I have never come across Datacash (in the same way as I come across Neteller (and Firepay and Paypal etc) the whole time.

For what it's worth here is what great (!!) EK has just posted on t1ps.com
Meanwhile I hear rumblings about legislative changes in somewhere called North Dakota (which I gather is in the middle of the great vulgarity known as the United States) which may signal the end of the American stupidity-derived gravy train for NeTeller (NLR). I cannot pretend that I really understand what is going on but it all seems very promising and I remain short of the shares.

So hes moving from one line of fire to another, its obvious he is clutching at straws on NLR. Wednesday he used the competition stick today its the legislation stick, he did exactly the same with Sportingbet 2 years ago and could not prove anything. Just look where SBT are now.
He and his followers just frighten people out they have nothing at all to fall back on.
cheers GF.

Gallick, here's a few things I plucked off Google re Datacash and bookies.
"Betfair is one of the largest, if not the largest, online betting exchanges. It is the trading name of The Sporting Exchange Ltd, a registered limited liability company in England and Wales. It was founded in 1999 and holds a bookmakers permit in England and Wales. They utilitse secure servers and financial transactions are processed by DataCash and The Royal Bank of Scotland plc"
"BETDAQ uses DataCash and Allied Irish Bank plc as our secure payment service providers."
"BetHiLo.com selected Datacash (www.datacash.com), the UKs leading provider of e-commerce payment solutions, to be our security partner. Datacash are market leaders in their field and boast a considerable number of high profile customers (Carphone Warehouse, QXL and HMV are some of their larger customers"
"DataCash now has in place a number of online payment contracts with high-street retailers and gaming groups such as William Hill"
"People like Ladbrokes, Paddy Power and Betfair are all customers of Datacash"
"the Sporting Index website has been designed with security of paramount importance. They have selected DataCash, ( www.datacash.com ), the UKs leading provider of e-commerce payment solutions, to be our security partner"
I don't know if they are a threat to Neteller or not to be honest.

Just found this, Evil in the past as always taken great delight that online gaming in the US was banned. Is he now trying to make out that competition will come about because it is legalised????????????. Paypal had to withdrwaw from online gambling and indeed were financialy penalised by the US govt, the big credit card operators withdrew and all gambling transactions have a special code which are not honoured by the banking system.
Anyway heres the news article....................
3 states are considering legalizing online gambling
OnlineCasino.org | 16.03.2005 | 07:37:57 | Views: 7 | Casino News
3 states are considering legalizing online gambling.
According to USA Today North Dakota, Illinois and Georgia may legalize online gambling.
"Those are the latest assault on the federal Wire Act of 1961, which bans use of telephones to place sports bets. U.S. lawmakers have struggled for a decade to update the law, hoping to restrain the fast-growing, $10 billion-a-year Internet gambling industry."
"Legal experts say that the act is narrow and hard to enforce and that it does not specifically ban casino games."
"Kasper says legalized Internet poker could bring in millions through taxes and fees."
"Illinois' legislature is considering a bill to allow the sale of lottery tickets online to state residents 18 and older."
"Georgia state Rep. Terry Barnard, R-Glennville, has proposed a similar bill. It passed the House last week."
