I bought shares in this company at 4.5p in September 2003. I see they are rising. Can anyone tell me please the growth potential for this company as they have just been awarded several new contracts ?

Phoned up Corporate Synergy and they have said it would be unlikley that any shares would be offered to private shareholders, but this would have to be passed at the egm.

Been picking the bones out of the RNS and these I believe are the main points
1. It is seeking to raise upto 2.5 million pounds.
So could be less?
2. The subscription price of any new shares to be issued under the Proposed Placing has not yet been agreed, but is expected to be at a discount to 15.25
It does say it will be below 15.25 so it can be above this limit?
3.The number of shares actually allotted may be significantly less than 30 million. Depending on inter alia, levels of demand and the subscription price agreed with new investors.
So I see it that if the share price is at 19p the discounted price might well be 14.5p and only 17 million shares would be issued, it could of course be that the price might be 12p and the disounted price 10p. But the thing to remember is what was said in the RNS 'maybe significantly less'
These are of course only my views and by reading the mails on here today others have a very different view.
I for one am in long term as I can see this share reaching higher levels than before possible this year but for sure next year.
I wish you all well and good luck.

My take on things
I don't see it makes the slightest difference, the directors have ensured sufficient flexibility for themselves that they will raise money at the time and price that suits them best...this is not survival money being raised in desperation.
The cash position is secured so the risk is low, the array of products is priced right and the company is on the verge of signing new major contracts.
The share price has risen substantially over the last few weeks and was due a retracement. Does anyone here think they would try to raise cash when their share price is on the verge of collapsing? 2.5 million is not small change, so in order to encourage investors to part with this sort of cash I would have thought they'd have some juicy contracts in place to make it worth their while. I'd expect these contracts to be announced in the next few weeks. I think this is why the RNS stated the the number of shares issued could be SIGNIFICANTLY below 30m. Just my positive take on things.
Subsequent information on the US expansion too...!!!
Nothing about the company has changed over the last 2 days except the share price as far as I'm aware. How many times have we seen it? Price falls, weak holders sell, and next rise begins.
Assuming we get the contract news that I am expecting, I can't see this below 50p by Christmas.
Best Wishes,
GoodNight all!
Sue.

A few points of reflection and speculation on yesterday's RNS.....
...was the 15.25 price in the RNS known before the market closed ?
...did the mm's 'manage' the market to that price ?
...was the 15.25 just where the market left the price that day as a result of the buy/sell activity ?
...if yesterday had been a more bullish day on the markets..could the price in the RNS have been 16/17/18/19/20p or whatever ??
...we know the mm's have struggled to contain the demand for this stock...the words 'discount to' can usually be relied on to stem demand for a while...was that wording at the mm's request ??
...the words 'expected to be at a discount to' appear to leave the whole pricing question completely open still...could be lower or higher than Friday's price...who knows ??
...the words 'The Company has now begun the process of undertaking a placing to institutional and other investors' seems to confirm that the price and amount has not yet been finalised...and could therefore be a variety of combinations to raise up to 2.5m...or maybe more if oversubscribed...or at a better price...who knows ??
So lots of questions still left open by the RNS in my view !!

Morning all,
SueHelen,
Your views are remarkably similar to the views I've expressed over on the ADVFN board. What an amazing coincidence! They appeared around a half hour after I posted them too!
What makes you think they'll be over 50p by xmas?
Roll on next week!

Good week ahead ....... bit of turbulance expected, troublemakers will post as well, so don't be surprised.
Share price will quickly spring back from Fridays close......but please expect initial shake as the MM's try to frighten you!
Check in to my regular posts on the other board, along with gameboy and the rest of the team.
Best wishes to all

axe 79 - will do. Some characters over there! but I like that there is more frequent posting which is good during the shaky times! Good to find you and game_boy over there. Simply put, my understanding of the situation from posts I've read from Sue, yourself and game_boy is that CWV have a fantastic pitch to present to investors; investors always want a deal; if the announcement regarding share issue is made first and THEN the contract news, those investors are almost guaranteed a very fast northward movement on their investment.
So nothing to worry about and it's all as predicted and expected.
Or am I missing some fundamental part of the picture?
Regards
Anna
