Hi all, apologies Jeff from SA racing and Glen Kotzen in particular.
He's at a loss to understand what went wron in the first race, the horse was hampered at the start and simply never recovered. Arctic just lost it, tumbled the jock and everyone here got their dosh back, hope you did to.
Unusual for him to have a bad day like that, normally Mike Bass, Joey Ramsden and Glen are the leading trainers, cest la vie.
Bar bill to Dave, mines a big 'un....
Night all........

Been quiet in here recently...where's our favourite Pooch these days?
Snowie - You'll have to go out into the back yard for the ashtray,
I have been very good recently and have been only smoking outside...
(huge hint.....giggle..and it saves fag ash in the food too!)
Ok it's cooler today, I hope everyone is going to Do Their Duty and VOTE!!
We seem to have more ballot papers than polling stations in London today,
going to do mine later on....(To Ken or not to Ken that is the question..)
Off to finalise the lunch menu.....

Little willie
Tell your trainer he owes us one. Was too late for the first and got my money back on the second so no harm done. But then if you cant afford to lose it you shouldnt gamble it.
Dave
Will be at Ascot on Friday so probably will only look at that days races.
Morning everyone else

Time for a quick coffee before lunch? Rushing today as youngest has AS Spanish and I want to vote before he rings - although that could be any time between 12 and 7 (when he will next be hungry!).
How are you stockbunny? Pooch must be recovering from his holiday! Maybe brought one of those Spanish birds back with him?!
Coffee was delicious - it will energize me for shelf building experience this afternoon as daughter back from Uni with ever more clothes, shoes, bags, books ..............have never experienced a plasterboard wall before ....... am quite experienced with crumbling sandstone ... but this flimsy affair doesn't look like it would enjoy the polyfilla in the same way!

Hi Snowie - No I'm not married, not any more anyway, got traded
in for a younger model a few years back.
(Don't worry you haven't trodden on any emotional corns
Snowie, the ones that did grow at the time have long since healed up
again!)
Now the way I look at it, is there's 'value' in vintage models
whereas the new ones depreciate as soon as they get driven off the forecourt
(Hee-hee...sorry I've possibly drunk too much milk this morning...meow!!)
Hello Zarif - on the cocktails already I see....
