Paulismyname,
ainsey claimed to short stock when it suited him, he just didn't like the "plebs" having shorting facilities as he put it once. Gives you an insight into why he tended to get right up peoples backs.
He was also a compulsive liar with the unfortunate problem of having a terribly short memory. Good riddance.

Cant say i know of him shorting a stock.
He prob has the ability, as do most of us, but not the inclination.
I for one believe he had far more constuctive comments than the rest of
his anti-campaigners put together.
I think MAM made a mistake.

I seem to recall he indicated, with great delight, that he had shorted one of gravy's shares....can't remember which one though.
I clashed with ainsoph a number of times on Tad, though didn't resort to the heinous and derogatory remarks he came out with. The clashes were based on posts I had made that dared to question his well known Tad bullishness or discuss aliases and the odd other topic. I was accused of being oldolie/gravy on advfn, called a 'tosser', called 'bits and pieces', just to name but a few instances. These remarks were totally unjustified because my posts have never been insulting (maybe the odd joke but we are all guilty of that) and were made to promote discussion and to air my views so that I can learn this game.
The ironic thing is, I have always beleived the Tad story (maybe this will haunt me, I don't know) and want Tad to succeed. I am long, have no choice on that, because my average is around 11p. Like many, though, I have been critical of 'win-win' nonsense, sale of hardware, Gem, but I am allowed to do that because I hold. That doesn't mean I want Tad to fail. However, we are still not out of the woods and still await news, end of Gem, news of Cartesia, news of Eti future, all instrumental in determing the future of Tad. I am slightly sceptical but as I said, I have a right to be, a own a fraction of this gamble and want to make money on it. Just like us all.
Ainsoph posted the odd useful snippet, some useful Level 2 detail and news/items that I for one haven't the time to hunt out, but in the main he was an aggressive and compulsive liar. Everyone knows that really. He was hounded, yes, but his condescending comments, unjustified boasts (cars, adultery, lunches at the Ritz etc etc), unethical comments, patronizing drivel and never never never never lost a penny nonsense was only ever going to attract attention by those annoyed by his comments. Simple really.
It is my opinion this board can only benefit from his removal. Others disagree, that is totally fair enough in my book.
Anyway, good day to all.

Just popped in to look. I see you are infamous on iii Beau. Apparently your post was too offensive to go through their filter.
It does seem OTT and cowardly as the target cannot reply or even see your message.

I assume post 79 is judged to be fine in relation to all your personal vendetta posts that were subsequently banned this week.
Fairly obvious who sequestor is and that he has a problem with a certain poster, I thought that was why you had a mass cull, posts like the one above are likely to raise the temerature of posters.

How long must you bang the same drum to the same old tired tune?
Look outside: Lovely.
Look at the market: Showing signs of recovery.
Why not have a cup of camomile tea and take the weight off.
ainsoph has gone so we are all saved imo. DYOR.

PS: I see she chose the name 'incognito' this morning. What's the betting that it was created after my second post of the morning on the TAD board ;-) .

Sorry, sequestor we have removed your post above. Let's all let sleeping dogs lie. Certain posters have now gone and it would be good to carry on without constant reference to their past lives. Call me old fashioned but life really is to short, lovely weather, weekend coming, nice choppy market today , what else could we want.

Was 79 a typo, or are posts renumbered when a post is removed?

Too hot for the trout,
Post 79(a)
Re. post 79 I apologise profusely for the content of the post and am in total agreement with yuff, the post was in the worst possible taste, the mere mention of the late departed is reason enough for censorship, again apologies for those who saw the `little a` word before it was rightly wiped.
I trust others will also follow my new lead and ensure that such offensive
words are stricken from the collective memory
RIP 666

there was a time that the close season was observed-and with good reason. enjoy yanking out the poor fish with nothing else on their mind but ensuring you can continue to catch them.
