Got a 50k top up at 7.06 second trade this am.

proptrade - 20 Dec 2004 10:32 - 74 of 274

i have to say that i have been watching this for a while and read the RNS and for the record this guy Kirby is the top dog. He operated on my father this year (after my father researched who was the top specialist) and he was great.

just thought i would pass on that useless bit of info!

out of interest what are the current/projected sales of this product?

overgrowth - 20 Dec 2004 12:34 - 75 of 274

proptrade - the guys at MDW are top specialists in their field and are producing products which they know will sell (they're also now extremely experienced businessmen in the global market).

Irpy on advfn had a shot at some projections a couple of weeks back (and he's much better at guessing fundamentals than me):

"I guess 40m market cap is not too unreasonable in the medium term.

A very rough estimate assumes that the US market would amount to, say $17.5m, or 17.5 / 1.9 (exchange rate) = 9.2m, (average of last MDW estimate)and allow 1/2 as much again for everything else (pure guess).

Therefore, annual sales are expected to be 1.5x 9.2m = 13.8m. Since the p/e ratio is nonsensical atm, take the market cap to be 3x annual sales forecast = 41.4m.

The no. shares in circulation is about 91m and so the SP would be 41.4 / 91 = 0.45 or 45p.

Current price is 7.25p which makes this a potential 45 / 7.25 = 6.2 bagger medium term, imo."

iamole - 20 Dec 2004 15:38 - 76 of 274

When I first bought in to these earlier in the year, I had read an article in Share Mag suggesting 30p as a fai value so here's hoping, and a lot has happened since so 45p may be possible.

proptrade - 20 Dec 2004 16:47 - 77 of 274

very sensible posts guys. thank you. will look into this a little bit deeper.

robstuff - 22 Dec 2004 12:19 - 78 of 274

I believe the Directors will purchase more shares at this level as they did at 8p early in yr, the 150k trade prob was.

iamole - 22 Dec 2004 16:52 - 79 of 274

Moving off of bottom, excellent value up to 30p, which I think we may see in next few months. Yes, directors did buy in February at 8p so if they bought more now to instill confidence, the sp will shoot up again.

robstuff - 23 Dec 2004 14:31 - 80 of 274

some better trades today, hoping it's lifting off from here!

Oakapples142 - 24 Dec 2004 09:27 - 81 of 274

Yet again some healthy buys this morning which is may be not expected on a normally a slack trading day.

Oakapples142 - 24 Dec 2004 12:09 - 82 of 274

Woops - and now far too many very unhealthy sells. Looking forward to the close down period !

robstuff - 31 Dec 2004 10:07 - 83 of 274

The price moves on such small trading, see today 1 person sells less than 5k worth of shares and the price moves, so expect large upswing once it get's written about - it only takes a single publication to tip it and a few buyers to kickstart it and then interest will return. Happy new yr!

overgrowth - 03 Jan 2005 13:29 - 84 of 274

robstuff - the PR/tipping effect will be nothing compared to the RNS's which are expected early in the New Year to confirm the US distribution deal and China/Hong Kong SDA approval.

If I had to tip a multi-bagger share for 2005, Mediwatch would be the one (as soon as the next RNS comes out the journos will cotton on).

A Happy (and very prosperous) New Year to you too!

andysmith - 05 Jan 2005 23:03 - 85 of 274

Sorry folks but I'm in on this one so it's bound to go wrong!!!
Couldn't resist to wait too long and got in this week and guess what, switch on today and it goes down!!!
Hope you are right Overgrowth, but I bought partly for everyones enthusiasm but mainly because this will be a massive market (I know from personnel experience unfortunately) which could drive this company forward.
Good luck to all, hope I havn't spoilt it!!

overgrowth - 05 Jan 2005 23:31 - 86 of 274

You're in at the right time Andy - news of the US deal and we'll be on the way to 20p (after then we can look forward to the real goodies being announced - which the market hasn't spotted yet).

MDW will be a bit up and down as long termers get fed up and take a punt on the latest petro stock for a bit of excitement and new investors and long term topper-uppers will take advantage of the lower prices.

The right news (RNS's are being stacked up now - lots of potential news to come) and the price will go into orbit.

The market is getting bigger with populations with increasing longevity, however MDW's share of the market and coverage is also constantly increasing.

Their aim is to be shipping products into more than 100 countries around the globe - include China and the US in that and in a couple of years time we'll be looking at a FTSE 350 share trading at well over 1.

hondaman - 06 Jan 2005 13:37 - 87 of 274

results due this month -jump on board and enjoy ,expecting 12p+

scotinvestor - 06 Jan 2005 19:35 - 88 of 274

quite a high volume of trades today too which helps

Oakapples142 - 10 Jan 2005 16:27 - 89 of 274

Large buys late on and into the blue by 11%. Do we think this is speculation or is something in the wind ?

Jules - 10 Jan 2005 16:32 - 90 of 274

all aboard the mdw express.... rise before results!!

hondaman - 10 Jan 2005 21:29 - 91 of 274

rising because of good results to come with expectations of a MAJOR USA DEAL!

overgrowth - 10 Jan 2005 23:21 - 92 of 274

Good to see Mediwatch moving in the right direction - this is going to be really big.

A definite 4-5 bagger in 2005 and possibly more!

Announcement that the US distribution deal has been signed along with the results at the end of Jan. would be great, however there's still SDA approval for China/Hong Kong waiting in the wings (as soon as we get that, because the products are already out there with the distributors, they could be sold in very quickly).

and....plenty more news to come after these "biggies" looks as though it's destined to keep investors interested throughout the year.
