Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

One of the reasons the USA does so well in medals is that the whole team of Basketball etc are counted as gold medal numbers. Brazil got 18 golds for winning the football.

The medals are tallied by the event, not the numbers in the team. While all that competed in a team event, including the preliminary rounds, may be awarded a medal, they are not added together for medal table purposes. You are flat wrong Hays.

Nigel Farage going to America and standing on the same platform has Trump was absolute madness. After he and most of his supporters and all the media told Obama to keep his nose out of our Referendum. What the hell made him do it , why wasn't he advised not to.

You haven't explained why Farage is a knobhead c.
Seems to me he ran rings around the establishment.

Farage may well have partly caused the referendum, but Boris was more responsible for the leave victory

farage is a knobhead because he hadn't the nous to see that aligning himself with trump - merely appearing on the same platform and trumpeting (sorry!) is that - sets the perception that he is every bit as nasty and bigoted as trump
basic common sense should have also told him that he had no right to start interfering in american politics and electioneering, any more than did obama with the referendum
as i said ..... the man is a knobhead and will have lost much credibility and support in the uk

'Nigel Farage has been receiving congratulatory plaudits for his platform
sharing speech with D.Trump'
Many high ranking people in the US have been indicating they would like to see
Nigel Farage stand as an independent in an effort to get him into the White House.
But when asked about this new development Nigel Farage insisted he might be
called on to lead a NEW party in the UK and to become the opposition to the
Tory party..Unquote!
