THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Anyone on here buying the brand new £5 notes at £200 each?

I have a few of the old ones left which you can have for a mere £10 each and which are definitely a lot more collectible as they will soon be pulled out of circulation. Just let me know how many you want. Payment is by bank cheque only, please.

Sweden leads the race to become cashless society

Swedes are blazing a trail in Europe, with banks, buses, street vendors and even churches expecting plastic or virtual payment

In greek we say.. afou o kolos sou to ethele..
As your ass wanted it..
So despite everything people want to be owned and controlled entirely by the banks.. It doesnt surprise me that Swedes embrace this. How they ever got a rep for bein liberal is beyond me.
Hand over yr asses, your assets and any tiny shred of democracy and privacy, drones...

I stayed at a hotel over the weekend in Bristol. The hotel had a pool. I had the chance to see a burkini up close as one of the residents was wearing one. Complete head to toe like a divers outfit. No one seem bothered. It was just a novelty.

Bit of a bu**er if said lady needs to go for a wee, eh?

That's if "it" was a lady...how would you know?

Sweet Loretta Martin thought she was a woman

But she was another man

All the girls around her say she's got it coming

But she gets it while she can

It's not so much one is it either , the problem may arise if you go around and see endless numbers parading as a novelty ,

cynic 73490. D. Hatton WAS present at the Labour party conference, wallowing
in the return of FAR left socialism, in a conference room that was half empty,
deserted by the Blairites who had decided to stay away.

It's the 'Donald Trump versus Hilary Clinton Debate' on the box at 11pm tonight.

The odds say Trump is going to win it.

Hi all,

Please accept our apologies for the outage this morning.

ExecLine - 27 Sep 2016 11:02 - 73508 of 81564

Any thoughts from anyone on the 'Trump v Clinton debate' last night?

IMHO:

What a confused, bullying, garbled, 'blame others' diatribe Trump spits out most of the time and all the time too, waving his hands about. Whereas Clinton has a much calmer, disciplined and controlled approach to what she says and geared more towards the factual.

I've watched the highlights and I think Clinton 'won hands down'.

There's tons of it on YouTube, so if you haven't seen any of it yet, off you go there and select your own clip(s).

Fred1new - 27 Sep 2016 12:08 - 73509 of 81564

I thought Trump would make a good choice for leadership of UKIP or the Con party.

Firm, out of touch, making policy light at the flip of a coin, and self-advancing and at the same time appealing to the mob.

My only hope it that the US electorate will reject him.

What has politics come to?
