Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

iturama,
Aren't Volvos made in Sweden which, last time I looked, was still in the EU?
So a hard Brexit would make them more expensive too. :o)

Years ago the likes of Kia / Hyundai etc were a joke but not now , these cars have superb build quality ,if the EU want to punish us i am quite happy to not buy a German car which i have for at least the last 20 years .

Max,
How much of the UK economy is owned by overseas ladies and gentlemen already?
(Russian, China owned. French companies, etc..)
What is the effect on tax raised in the UK?
I know you boys are wanting to be in charge of yourselves, but it seems some of you are already wetting yourselves.
Serice industries already moving away from London.
Great days ahead.

Let them leave all these so called pseudo British Companies. Then may be the gap can be filled with a new generation of start ups that may or may not work. I just cant stand the negativity of some.

Well I can think of one off the top of my head and that is the certainty that people are going to get back what they're already lost through devaluation of the £ already, and that's before anything else has been decided on our European membership...is it certain or not that they will get their losses back?
I'm sure I can think of more in time as can other people.

Jimbo,
So, do the Kias and Hy'n'dries depreciate more or less than the Mercs and Beemers? Ditto the junk the yanks produce? Seriously??
The five cars that depreciate the most... not a German car to be seen, but there's a Jag in the list!
