THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Dil - 20 Oct 2016 13:19 - 74115 of 81564

No Fred you are wrong. He is the elected representative of ours and we spoke and he should listen otherwise there was no point in having the in out vote.

It's about time the remoaners stopped trying to block the inevitable and started embracing it.

Ed Millaband should shut his gob on the subject too as his constituents voted out.

Dil - 20 Oct 2016 13:22 - 74116 of 81564

And forgive me if I'm wrong Fred but didn't Blair not once but twice promise to hold an EU referendum only to duck out of it when he realised he wouldn't win it ?

At least Cammy kept his word.

Dil - 20 Oct 2016 13:28 - 74117 of 81564

Lol iturama , maybe it should be pissed in Spain ?

grannyboy - 20 Oct 2016 13:37 - 74118 of 81564

They had the 'chief' moaner, griper, whatever you want to call that waste
of skin boy clegg on the Daily Politics program...

WHY they give idiots like that any air time baffles me, until i realize its the bbc.

Dil - 20 Oct 2016 13:40 - 74119 of 81564

And he wonders why the Lib vote as been annhilated.

cynic - 20 Oct 2016 13:44 - 74120 of 81564

GB
because cynic has been out and about including going to the gym for an hour

sweden, austria and hungary and i think others are already making it much more difficult for immigrants to just walk into their countries to claim asylum
even germany is no longer as welcoming as it was

much as the rabids might wish it, you can't shut off the flow of illegal immigrants like turning off a tap

==================

DIL
as previous stated, i think parliament (and your own mp) should certainly support the motion for Article 50
however and thereafter, "whatever the circumstances" can legitimately be interpreted as your mp voting for the sections of deal as done as she feels is in the best interests of you (her constituents) or to be less insular, in the best interests of the country

grannyboy - 20 Oct 2016 13:47 - 74121 of 81564

I will NEVER show any humility to anyone who through their religion
or beliefs, who wants to invade countries that have a different culture
and religious beliefs to their own, and to transplant THEIR ways into the
countries they end up in, and that are alien to western society, and who
are mainly fit young men of fighting age.

Laurenrose - 20 Oct 2016 13:51 - 74122 of 81564

gran. you have almost got right but most of the young migrants are cowards and would sooner run than fight for their country , that makes them cowards

Laurenrose - 20 Oct 2016 13:55 - 74123 of 81564

gran. they have left their sisters and mothers to the is rapist and murderers , what kind of person does that ,

grannyboy - 20 Oct 2016 13:59 - 74124 of 81564

And another nonsensical post from cynic 74123, they might be attempting
to make it more difficult, but the FACTS remain that its not working, and
the ILLEGAL immigrants are STILL flooding in from Africa/Asia, the EU have
no intention of turning these boats back, its against the ECHR's.

The EU are in the process of sharing some of these ILLEGAL immigrants around
the countries in the EU, and that includes the UK, under the guise of 'children'
from the jungle and the lax border control that the uk employ which allows untold
thousands to arrive in the back of wagons.

Hungary have just had a referendum on whether to obey the Brussels diktat that
says they MUST take their share, they voted not, we will see if its carried out
or Brussels gets their way?..

grannyboy - 20 Oct 2016 14:09 - 74125 of 81564

Where does the likes of cynic and little fred think those flooding in
from Africa/Asia are landing, and in their rose tinted mind think they
go, do they think once in europe they just turn into thin air and disolve
away, even if countries put up barriers these ILLEGALS have to be
somewhere...Where do you think they go cynic, maybe lily allen has
them tucked up in her mansion, Nicola Sturgeon has smuggled them
into Scotland...

Its a mystery to me..eh!

cynic - 20 Oct 2016 14:11 - 74126 of 81564

there's an abyss of difference between humility and tolerance (actually they have no commonality at all) and invade is ridiculously emotive when all you mean is people who have migrated

in any case, you're talking codswallop!
of course all ethnic minorities bring their culture with them, whether they are jewish or chinese or bangla or indian or west indian .... or even the irish or scots or welsh!

further, all the above cultures (and others) have indubitably enriched "our own", but it always takes at least the second generation to start integrating ..... can't be bothered to expound further

==============

like it or not, the hungarian referendum was invalid, as under hungary's own rules, there had to be a turnout of at least 50% and it fell short of that

grannyboy - 20 Oct 2016 14:52 - 74127 of 81564

The examples you gave..ie All ethnic minorities bring their culture with
them, whether they are jewish or chinese or indian..or..or..or..What no
mention of muslims???

Yes and most of these have cultures which are not detrimental to our
own, whereas those from Asia, ie muslims(islam) are totally alien to
western cultures, and they wish the islamisation of whichever country
they end up in, its their aim, and the last time i looked were fighting a
war with Jews and Isreal, so being a jew does not enemour you to a
muslim.

As to talking codswallop, thats simply because YOU have lost the arguments
and YOU have not answered ANY of the allegations I have put to YOU!!

grannyboy - 20 Oct 2016 14:56 - 74128 of 81564

It's always the same with the liberal loony left bleeding heart imbiciles
when they lose an argument(and thats most of the time), they start
accusing people of being bigots, racist and xenophobes...

The lowest form of 'not' debating...

JUST LIKE CYNIC AND HIS SIDEKICK little fred!!!!!!!!!

Laurenrose - 20 Oct 2016 15:00 - 74129 of 81564

yes the race card comes out .

Laurenrose - 20 Oct 2016 15:04 - 74130 of 81564

did any one take my tip to buy lloys at 53p now pushing 56p in 3 days loads more to come

grannyboy - 20 Oct 2016 15:20 - 74131 of 81564

"Like it or not the hungarian referendum was invalid"

I could'nt care less, the MAJORITY that did vote, voted against it, but was
declared invalid because of low turnout, and give the EU an excuse and they
will run with it for all its worth, and it really shows how thick and gullible
people like you are in excepting this kind of manipulation.

Fred1new - 20 Oct 2016 15:28 - 74132 of 81564

Phew,

I do hope some of you don't move in next door to me.

Couldn't afford the drop in house price.

-==-===

grannyboy - 20 Oct 2016 15:29 - 74133 of 81564

cynic 74083

"it is interesting that there are already moves to stop complete freedom of
movement and curb the influx of economic refugees"

WHERE'S IS THIS 'EVIDENCE' AVAILABLE TO PERUSE BY US COMMONERS???

You've not told us yet cynic...

Unless you're the boy clegg who said when on the Daily Politics today..

"There is an effort going into stopping free movement around europe by
countries putting up barbed wire fences."....

Where do they get FOOLS like this, and allow them free air time is beyond
me, and proves the 'inmates are running the asylum'

Fred1new - 20 Oct 2016 15:36 - 74134 of 81564

Dil,

The point of the vote was Cameron's hope to calm his own party down.

He didn't expect the result.

It was sticking a needle in his own image.

-=-=-=-=

So after negotiations, parliament find that the result of getting out of the EU is complete bankruptcy your MP should vote for exit?

UMMM.

Tell your kids.
