Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

the word Islam indicates a covenant between Allah and his followers, where a Muslim surrenders his or her will to Allah in return for peace or safety

Sweden is outside the top 40 countries for suicide and below the average from OECD.
One of the more enduring myths surrounding Sweden is that the people here are particularly suicidal. This rumour is often traced back to a speech given by US President Dwight D Eisenhower in the 1960s. No fan of Sweden’s social democratic politics and neutrality, he blamed the country’s generous welfare system for ‘sin, nudity, drunkenness and suicide

I used to visit Atlas Copco and Sandvik in Stockholm and travelled around Sweden, including a visit to the Kiruna mine in Lapland. My impression what that the Swedes were a melancholic lot. Not enough sunshine.

Well, the way they are going
The sin, nudity and drunkenness will be a thing of the past.
But suicide will be on the up and up as they lose control of their country.

don't tell me .... they're all going to buy bentleys instead
============
batley - other parties did not stand, so 25% turnout is not surprising
hungary - in the hungarian constitution, so "they" were nothing to do with it

There is a story in the Mail this morning about Iraqi soldiers "apparently" torturing youths in Mosul. Together with lots of outraged comments. Now last time I looked the Iraqis and Kurds were still more than 5 miles from Mosul. But don't let the facts get in the way of a fabricated page filler.
