Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Gwaelod,
Unfortunately, some never learn and discount repeat of history for the present state.
Also, due to their own discontent and greed are often blind to that around them.
The political positioning by the self-centre extremists wishing to grab power for power's sake without any real aims or goals other than immediate personal gains eventually fails.
Ask the Brexiters and the Trumps what they actual voted for and the answers is generally a mixture of negatives other than breast thumpings "we the greatest".
Greatest "what"?

We are entering a sad period in social evolution and cohesion of the "Free World).
I am sure others will be happy to partner and share their wealth with those who are already buying up companies. businesses and property plots in UK cities and London. Bl---y immingrants. LOL)

Well one benefit of Trump's nomination is that we will have lovely Melania in a dress as the first lady. I couldn't bear the thought of Bill in a dress. Even Monica's.

fred trying his best to come across as having a coherent thought and opinion
but failing miserably..
FRED YOU MUST BE PATIENT AND WAIT FOR THE GUARDIAN TO PUBLISH THEIR
THOUGHTS BEFORE YOU CAN ATTEMPT TO GIVE ANY KIND OF OPINION, THEN YOU
MIGHT HAVE AN IDEA...

Now if you've not got a degree you're thick, according to a sky presenter..
ie those who voted for Trump...But we've had the same accusations aimed
at those in the UK for voting Brexit....

I wonder if Trump will receive the Nobel Prize for Peace? After all, Obama got his nomination after only 11 days in office.
Amusing how democrats want Trump to reach across the aisle and be a friend of all people., including those that didn't vote for him. Fair enough. Pity Obama didn't remember that in his "elections have consequences" speech.

Granny.
Perhaps, you might be better informed if you read some of the Guardian articles rather the spout the garbage you have swallowed and frequently spout.
You can always borrow a dictionary to look up the words you don't understand.

Dumbo,
I think by your comment you bear a stronger resemblance to Brand than I do.
I would have thought he went to the same pub as you did.

I think that part of the reason that Clinton lost was Bernie Sanders. His popularity in the primaries caused Clinton to move too far to the left. The people who voted for Trump dislike anything from the left. It is the reason why Democrats and Republicans are not analogous to our two main parties.
