THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Nothing to do with being a leftie. Trump is hated equally by left and right.

Fred1new - 13 Nov 2016 12:57 - 74660 of 81564

No.

Max, Vicky and Dumbo and a few others have fallen for his charms.

jimmy b - 13 Nov 2016 13:38 - 74661 of 81564

Fred's worst nightmare coming true , wait until Marine La Pen wins France Fred all left wing luvvie bets are off then .

jimmy b - 13 Nov 2016 13:46 - 74662 of 81564

The interim Ukip leader said Mr Trump had a 'very positive reaction' to the idea of returning a bust of Sir Winston Churchill to the Oval Office

That would be the bust Obama had taken out then . Love it we should all be pleased Churchill's bust back in the Oval Office.
It's going to be like Ronnie and Maggie all over again .

Haystack better get used to his beloved May dealing with Trump because it's happening !

Haystack - 13 Nov 2016 14:01 - 74663 of 81564

Marine Le Pen is very unlikely to win in France. Their Electoral system makes it very difficult.

I am quite happy to deal with Trump. That's reality. He is a scumbag as is Farage, but Trump was elected. He is not as bad as plenty of Totalitarian leaders of kleptocracies.

jimmy b - 13 Nov 2016 14:04 - 74664 of 81564

Farage is no scumbag , just because you hate the fact that he got us out of the EU .

====================
TRUMP
You forgot to mention so did half of America LOL !!

Haystack - 13 Nov 2016 14:30 - 74666 of 81564

I am happy that we left the EU. Farage did help get the referendum, but he did not influence the actual vote much.

Fred1new - 13 Nov 2016 14:32 - 74667 of 81564

Delusions again.

He hasn't got us out of the EU yet.

Farage has run away from his responsibilities.

Puffed up coward come to mind. Mind the rabble always loves a loud mouth or thug.

Again, I would like to see the treaties which are signed at the "exit", if it comes about.

TM hasn't got a clue what they will be, not have the simpletons of the Brexit mob.

"Up and at boys."

My bet is the agreement will cost the UK more than similar agreements already do.

grannyboy - 13 Nov 2016 14:56 - 74668 of 81564

Nigel Farage was elected too, as an MEP, And now just like the rest of those
who were slagging Trump off before the elections, Haystack is hurriedly
backtracking and are now 'willing to deal' with Trump.

The same as haystacks ability to read someone's honesty and character, that or
haystack is a liberal mass open door lefty, who embraces the status quo and the
continuation of the establishment parties....

grannyboy - 13 Nov 2016 15:14 - 74669 of 81564

little fred 74670

"Farage has run away from his responsibilities."

"Puffed up coward come to mind. Mind the rabble always loves a loud mouth or thug"

You will find that Nigel Farage has NOT ran away from his responsibilities,
as he STILL represents the UK in Brussels, and will still be there until the UK
pull out of that corrupt, undemocratic, unnacountable organisation, and the
sooner the better....

And if by that ignorant statement and insinuation that those who voted for UKIP
and Nigel Farage are loud mouth rabble in your small minded opinion, is like water
on a ducks back, as those who did vote UKIP has shown they want to hear the truth,
and for the truth to be heard, and of course there is people who would rather brush
it under the carpet or even deny it altogether...little fred is one of those nobody's..

iturama - 13 Nov 2016 15:23 - 74670 of 81564

Hays.. "Trump is hated equally by left and right".

There must be a hell of a centre ground since Trump trounced Clinton in electoral college votes. Maybe the left and right got it wrong. There again maybe it is just you that is wrong Hays. Wouldn't be the first time. Calm down. As for your other nemesis, Nigel's star is on the rise. Get used to it.

Haystack - 13 Nov 2016 15:59 - 74671 of 81564

Not backtracking. Just accepting reality. Trump is there. We cannot change that no matter how unpleasant he is.

Don't forget that Clinton got more if the popular vote with 4m votes yet to count.

As for Farage, he may be on the rise but it is no indication of how pleasant he is. Plenty of other scumbags gave risen over the years.

Canadians are open to four US states joining the country

grannyboy - 13 Nov 2016 16:50 - 74673 of 81564

What in your humble opinion haystack do YOU find so repulsive about
Nigel Farage.

And why was YOU so fawning and sycophantic towards the snake oil
salesman 'call me dave' cameron..

I'm going to enjoy putting you straight, after i've finished other things in my diary..

cynic - 13 Nov 2016 16:51 - 74674 of 81564

fred - it comes as no surprise that you now start a consistent sniping campaign against TM ..... i confess i don't know against whom you would not rant, unless perhaps clem atlee's bones were dragged from his grave

personally, i think TM is tough and focused and doing a very good job in very difficult times and i hope she will be around as the country's leader for many more years

Chris Carson - 13 Nov 2016 16:55 - 74675 of 81564

5:49 PM on 13/11/2016 The sheep are quiet today. Perhaps they've read the report in The Sunday Times: http://www.thetimes.co.uk/edition/scotland/snp-dragging-its-heels-on-using-welfare-powers-fc225xljk (0) (2) Tommy Hilfiger 5:43 PM on 13/11/2016 This just sums up the wee Nippy so well. What a complete and utter hypocrite. How long do we have to put up with here and lah lah land SNP nonsense. These twits will bring Scotland to its knees if we don't get shut of them soon......PLEASE NIPPY do us all a favour and RESIGN. (0) (1) immigrantwoman 5:41 PM on 13/11/2016 Trump and Brexit are like the death knell for political correctness and isn't it great! None of the usual tripe washes any more and even Sturgeon's realised it. (0) (2) Danny MaC 5:41 PM on 13/11/2016 Unlike National Socialist controlled Scotland the USA is actually still a democracy and not a tin pot Dictatorship. Clearly Trump is already piping down a bit on the blustering. It will be interesting to see what someone who is not a career establishment Politician like Nippy the Dictator can actually do, I just hope he does something to control multi national corporation greed so we will see. Anyway after all Nippy's own populist blustering I doubt her letter will even get read, she has done nothing but make a total fool of herself again.
