JJ50,
I seem to recall a previous meeting, I behaved very badly in response to your generous hospitality.
My only excuse can be that I was overwhelmed by your presence, (and the fact I got logged off when they reset the site).
I have been searching for you ever since that I might beg forgiveness, (I bought flowers)

No need to apologise. Flowers very much appreciated.... another glass of DP perhaps or something to eat SC?:-) Rather quiet in here tonight.

Another would be very nice, and perhaps you would join me in a glass?
Then maybe a bite, all this travelling makes me hungry.

Delighted to join you. Have you been travelling far this evening? We certainly had a storm last night but today has been wonderfully calm.

I am always travelling in answer to the call, going wherever my help is sought, but in answer to your original question, mention of food, when it reaches me, is almost irresistable, pray you never encounter my cooking, or you may learn the reason why!

Once again I am summoned from afar, and must leave, as ever in hopes that I may return soon
Goodnight

Good morning all. Very pleasant here in Cheltenham sitting with the curtains holding away the sun and working in a shaded room. My internet is OK, just as fast as ever.
No point in ditching Norton AV for McAfee, they are both Symantec products so will be using same or very similar AV engines.
Today is a day of revelation. Just read a book where the author hypothesises that all people are basically idiots and that they slip into and out of a state of idiocy as circumstances permit. Never a truer word!
As an example, it was quoted that a company decided all of it's employees should be bought laptops so that they may continue working whilst travelling. However, a manager was concerned about theft of said laptops, so had them permanently attached to the employees desks. QED
Now, if you ever see a person on a plane working on a laptop attached to a desk, you will know this story to be true.

Hello all from a very WET South Africa! After days of beautiful deepest winter sunshine its water water everywhere and the farmers are celebrating its arrival
or so I believe.
A few hardy souls [idiots] can be seen from my upstairs entertainments room as they winde their sodden way around the fairways; we've got a roaring logfire going so it will be motor cycling from Silverstone, Soccer and then F1 with maybe a glass or two along the way, plus being Sunday means a few phone calls to loved ones in the UK.
So all you rascals over there in Blighty enjoy your day, plenty of factor 20.
Good to see Socs is reading The Good Book on a Sunday but cannot recollect just where in Revelations it mentions anything about laptops. Certainly wasn't in the King James version but you know what these modern wotsits get upto.

Don't know Ian....I'll give her a shout shall I....VASEY!!!!
(that ok..oh good)
Afternoon people, although it looks like much of the tearoom
activity is now well after hours, when Bunny sadly can't come out
and play ((Sympathy, sympathy...I can't hear you....))
It is too hot in deepest West-of-London today and someone is determined
to cremate something on a Bar-B-Q and goodness knows what oil/grease/fat
they are using because it stinks!!! Just too much for a mainly
veggie-person!!!! Pass the twiglets please and some orange juice....Ta..

Hello, who's that disturbing my afternoon nap, I usually sleep after Sunday lunch until it's time to wake up to go to bed.
Yes Iain, Vasey is still around. A bottle of bubbly opening usually attracts her, it can't be my good looks that does it.

Hello Socs...sorry if I woke you up....
I've decided that whoever it is Bar-B-Q-ing must have a very old and tough
mechanic with decades of grease under his finger nails on their
Bar-B-Q..Or a very greasy spotty youth!
Is it still nice and warm in Cheltenham?

stockbunny,
For my part late appearances are all I can manage most of the time, work etc, even when so great a sage as the mighty Socrates appears early in the day, let alone the attractions of other visitors, I do however monitor my flock 24/7, er suppose I'm too late for breakfast?

Can't see why you are too late - who says breakfast has to be AM?
Help yourself...

stockbunny,
Thank you for your consideration, didn't want to jump the queue, and I would agree about AM, don't really do AM. How pleasing to have met you at last, so exceeds the anticipation. One advantage of a late breakfast, of course, is a glass of DP, might I take the liberty of offering a taster of this excellent vintage?

DP - as in expensive fizzy stuff Dom Peri(something)??? If so the bunny seldoms drinks it as the bubbles play havoc with her ears....But you go ahead...
