SCOTTY expects to receive over #2 million (SCO)

katcenka - 29 Nov 2005 15:59

People got in to early on this one, but now is the time to buy and at a cheap price too 1.75p, read the RNS

* Eurocopter flight trials successfully completed
* Additional German & US military purchases
* Additional working capital secured

SCOTTY Group plc, announces today that Eurocopter Deutschland ("Eurocopter"),
part of the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company ("EADS"), has
confirmed that the official flight trials of its military helicopters which
contain SCOTTY's CH 53 SATCOM Mission equipment have passed successfully.

During the trials, the equipment was demonstrated to officials from the German
Army. SCOTTY has received positive feedback from the Ministry officials that
attended and can confirm that the project now enters a new phase in which every
effort is being made to speed up the procurement process necessary to finalise
the project and implement delivery.

In order to fund the additional working capital and costs incurred during the 6
week delay to the flight trials for the CH 53 programme, SCOTTY has secured a
convertible loan of #400,000 through a new facility provided by Headstart, with
the possibility for another #400,000 above that. SCOTTY's directors believe that
this facility could be repaid within the 60-day term of the loan if the delivery
programme with Eurocopter proceeds as they anticipate.

In addition to the Eurocopter project, SCOTTY expects to receive over #2 million
before the calendar year-end from the implementation and delivery of a number of
orders previously announced.

These also include the delivery of Euro720,000 worth of equipment including SCOTTY
Mobile Systems, SATCOM equipment and Telemedicine units to the German army in
this quarter. In addition, SCOTTY confirms that the US Army has deployed three
disaster co-ordination teams equipped with SCOTTY's video teleconferencing
equipment to the Gulf Coast states, which were affected by Hurricane Katrina.

Chief of Staff for the First U.S. Army, Col. James Hickey said: "Satellite
communications are often critical in a hurricane's aftermath. One of the things
we learned last year with the series of hurricanes that passed through Florida
was the need for satellite communications,"

"This storm will likely take out some key communications nodes, and cell phones
and landlines may not work for some time," he added.

capetown - 16 Mar 2007 12:57 - 76 of 120

BT,something going on here,12MILL buy just gone through,RNS soon me thinks?

Big Ted - 16 Mar 2007 13:00 - 77 of 120

was a cross trade broker to broker... not sure if that means a broker needed them for a client however... i gather Man financial group must have added the other day, although couldn't find a previous holding rns anywhere going back for a couple of years...

Big Ted - 16 Mar 2007 13:01 - 78 of 120

sorry not broker to broker but certainly a cross at same price, i agree though an RNS looks imminent, why oh why did i sell so many last week...?!

capetown - 16 Mar 2007 13:05 - 79 of 120

WHY the hell did you?,no reason to sell, last couple months have been steady and its been on an upward trend from 1p,really sorry to hear that you sold, but hey you may have the last laugh!, i will buy more if it falls to 1/1.25,would not buy at this price

Big Ted - 16 Mar 2007 13:11 - 80 of 120

I retained a few, but didn't like the look of the markets, so offloaded many stocks, that weren't performing, daft though as i new the support at 1.1p was strong, and was only a matter of time before another contract was announced, have been in and out of these since motion media days @1.80...! I added lots @1.2p to ave down to 1.4p prob similar to you, now that ave has crept up to 1.5p, slightly gutted is un understatement... lol

capetown - 16 Mar 2007 13:14 - 81 of 120

BT,if there is no rns, price will fall back as it has historically over last 6 months, look how it trades in between the range of 1.10/1.60,when the spread is to our favour, its a good time to topp up,keep your eye on it and but @ under 1.30

Big Ted - 16 Mar 2007 14:09 - 82 of 120

dont like the spread the mm's are playing with, current dropped back on couple sells 1.3-1.6 isn't sport at all...

capetown - 16 Mar 2007 14:18 - 83 of 120

Well look forward to buying again at 1.10/25,then sell at 1.50

capetown - 16 Mar 2007 15:55 - 84 of 120

Bt,guessed it would come down, watch it and trade in its range

cynic - 04 Dec 2007 10:25 - 87 of 120

another mini-minnow that threatened to do great things but, as so often or even as usual, failed to live up to expectations ...... chart tells the story

There's always a bottom.

BigTed - 04 Dec 2007 10:30 - 89 of 120

Funny, its only half hour ago, i checked the current price, as this WAS one of my old fave's, having sold all holding earlier on in the year for around 1.4p...

driver - 04 Dec 2007 10:38 - 90 of 120

I was also on these for a short while and got out at a small lose; the sp does look very low thats with out checking whats been going on with the company and remembering the great expectations the punters had for it.

cynic - 04 Dec 2007 10:52 - 91 of 120

time for that rusty car analogy i think!

blueface - 04 Dec 2007 14:48 - 92 of 120

I believe the Black Prince ( nee..Colin Blackbourn)still holds over 60million sco shares...bght at much much higher prices!...he is apparently still confident we shall see at least 3-4p at some point in future!..personally my average price is alot higher but maybe one day as they say..at these levels I am certainly tempted but would prefer some reassurance that there will be no further fund raising at even lower levels than this!!...hence I rate sco at these levels as a speculative BUY!

cynic - 04 Dec 2007 14:53 - 93 of 120

no you don't! ..... you would just like to see other mug punters suckered in to this pretty flakey outfit in the hope that it will provoke some unwarranted upward activity ..... the stock does not quite warrant an unequivocal AVOID, but it sure as hell is not a good place for your money

Balerboy - 04 Dec 2007 22:27 - 94 of 120

Cynic, I think you live up to your name well, and probably the only one that tells it as it is. Have followed your posts on SEO board but unfortunately not close enough to get out in time. I'm probably mistaken but you give us amatures what seems an honest opinion, please keep posting. My average is .09p so I got a long way to go, will be old and grey before then but lets keep hoping.
