MELDEX. Double your money- quicktime. (MDX)

kitosdad - 12 Dec 2007 16:20

The engines have fired up at last for MDX. ( BPRG ) At long last they are being recognised for the force they will become over the next two years. On the cusp of disclosing huge revenue-earning deals with Global pharmacists. These have been hinted at as being unrolled before the years end, but may be in the next days. You still have time to get in at a bargain-basement price before the SP takes off for real shortly.

Tabatha

If you weren't worried, then you wouldn't be hare all the time trying to talk up what is quite possibly a dead dog. I'd be worried as hell if I'd lost that much .................. then again I'm not that stupid. ;-))))

Nite, nite? Wife called you to be for your Horlicks? Off you go like a good boy. LOL!

ptholden - 24 Jul 2009 14:05 - 7527 of 8631

I want whatever this idiot is taking!!

i think the the amount raised will be more in the region of 3.4 million so maybe a shortfall of 2.6 million so the 2 million can be converted to equity
and the other will be made up by the directors, this will be trading at the 40p to 50p range when everything is sorted as barry has already stated very very confident of that now

Dil - 24 Jul 2009 15:07 - 7528 of 8631

I guess the result speaks volumes.Im not convinced that the conversion price is the problem. I think people dont want to invest without seeing the accounts.

Secured loan note update
Posted on: Friday, July 24, 2009

Meldex announces that the amount raised up to the 22nd July 2009 through the Secured Loan Note (SLN) offering was 1,455,000. The directors announced on 22nd July 2009 the extension of the offering through to the 11th August 2009.

The Company has tried to minimise dilution of existing shareholders through the proposed conversion price of the SLN. However, as subscriptions have so far fallen short of the minimum amount required under the SLN offering, the Company considers it prudent to reduce the price of the proposed conversion in order to seek to ensure the success of the SLN offering.

Therefore, the directors intend, as soon as reasonably practicable following the completion of the SLN offering, to call a General Meeting of Members at which a resolution will be put to Members to increase the ordinary share capital by an amount sufficient to allow the conversion of any convertible loan note offered in substitution for the SLN into ordinary shares at a conversion price of 2p per share. The circular that was sent to shareholders on or around 25 June 2009 had referred to a proposed conversion price of 10p per share.

Any Qualifying Shareholder who has not received a copy of the SLN documentation or who would like another application form should contact the Company by calling 01223 394250 or by sending an email to BJM@meldexinternational.com Shareholders who have already subscribed in the SLN offering may complete an additional application form if they wish to subscribe for further secured loan notes.

Not even I thought this would fail be such a huge margin. Less than 25% raised is a disaster.

The next step is to make the conversion price 2p? I thought we'd plumbed the depths, but as with everything concerning MDX, it always goes lower.

Same s**t, different day. Where's the Calamari kid?

Dil - 24 Jul 2009 17:21 - 7535 of 8631

Lol , spin that one tabby .

Barry never loses, he just changes the goal posts

Andy - 24 Jul 2009 17:28 - 7537 of 8631

Al,

Well I'm astonished, far worse than even I thought possible!

And shows some of the posts claiming to be buying x units up for what they really were!

I wonder how many were egging others on whilst themselves holding back to buy in the market at a discount upon opening?

Dil - 24 Jul 2009 17:30 - 7538 of 8631

Oh well ... lets see how the zoo are taking it.

jeffmack - 24 Jul 2009 17:34 - 7539 of 8631

Remember that only a very small number of shareholders are active on ADVFN.

Big Al - 24 Jul 2009 17:49 - 7540 of 8631

Andy

In all honesty, it is far worse than I thought. I did not think they'd get 6m by 22nd but might scrape it during the extension. That now seems impossible IMO. Anybody waiting for the first date to pass and take a look at what was attained must now surely be running a mile. If they don't, they need locking up for their own good.

The mood in the zoo is as downbeat as you'd expect. Do feel sorry for many. They were daft enough to stick everything in it. I mean, who does that? It's insane. BPRG/MDX has always been at the forefront of the damage BBs can do to those who do not think objectively. Extraordinary Popular Delsuions and the Madness of Crowds, eh?

As usual. the ignorant egged on by the blind.

Big Al - 24 Jul 2009 17:52 - 7541 of 8631

Aptly named?

stupidboypike - 24 Jul'09 - 17:37 - 10410 of 10423

Well at a 2p conversion price it probably makes commercial sense to subscribe purely on a risk/reward basis. Frankly IMO at 10p, if you already had a large position in MDX, it was questionable. It really looks like it's s**t or bust now. If we can raise 6m we will have 515m shares in issue. At that level if we can get a technology commercialised a 40p or 50p share price is not impossible. I would be greatly encouraged if I heard some of the big hitters were in for a few 000k at this level because finding an extra 4.5m is going to take some doing.

Best regards to all.
