Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Tory MP Stewart Jackson on Bob Geldof:
“Now loudmouth multimillionaire soapdodger Bob Geldof is supporting the LibDem campaign in Richmond Park. Haven’t the voters suffered enough?”

Haze,
when have you done anything comparable to Sarah Olney has done and perhaps will do?
I wish her every success.
I think the disasters are some of those in the tory party who didn't have the courage to stand up for their convictions and those who left the field to get cash crops elsewhere and leave the mess behind them.
"All mouth and no trousers" comes to mind when I look at UKIP and their tory soul mates.

She sounded damn incapable to me , if you are in that position you should be able to answer all the questions .

Not a LIb dem supporter, but Sarah Olney was selected as an MP by the electorate.
That is more than that nut job Farage has managed to do.
Bumbling Boris and Farage have faired much worse in interviews.
Well done Sarah.

Haha...The dope little fred praises the hapless sarah olney (obviously the
fool hasn't listened to the Talkradio interview), When he rants about
"All mouth and no trousers"...
You certainly can't accuse the limp, hapless Ms sarah olney of being all mouth,
because she was totally 'GOBSMACKED' at some very simple questioning, but
that's the kind of individuals like little fred relates to..ie simple minds who are
easily manipulated....

"Bumbling Boris and Farage have faired much worse in interviews."
State the interviews that Nigel Farage has done that was ANYWHERE near
as atrocious as the one given in the Talkradio by your now 'new heroine'
sarah olney and your sycophantic praising of her, BECAUSE THERE HAS NEVER
BEEN A BAD INTERVIEW BY NIGEL FARAGE...
Now when talking about the buffoon boris, then yes, him and olney are on the
same level.......

Just like Julia Hartley Brewer asked olney..."There wasn't any difference in the
percentage she got winning the by-election and the percentage that was won
by the LEAVERS, so there wasn't a clear mandate, would there be a second by-
election?"....
As to Farage fecking off to America...He's also going around europe encouraging
other countries to LEAVE that corrupt organisation run by gangsters in Brussels.

Nigel Farage is a MEP for the South East to your beloved EU Parliament, Will. I would have thought that more important to you than a mere MP to Westminster. Especially one that wears a yellow rosette. Fact is that Farage helped emancipate the UK and no amount of sour grapes is going to change that. UKIP also polled 60% more votes nationally than the Libdems in the GE, so he didn't do too bad.
If the EU was such a great place we wouldn't have hundreds of thousands wanting to move here every year.

iturama, they call it selective memory, both will10 and little fred suffer
extensively from it and are in that mode on a regular basis..

jimmy - describing farage as slick is perhaps more accurate than you intended :-)
for all that, he is assuredly an excellent communicator

Good job that he is slick or we would never have got the vote , although after some of yesterdays news i'm not sure we will ever get what we voted for.

if you are of the "raise the drawbridge immediately" brigade, then of course you are not and nor were you ever going to
the only certainty is that we are in for some "very interesting times", and i think quite a lot will be pretty scary

People with a bit of experience, say even 'doing a car boot sale', or haggling with buying or selling a car or a house, running a business, or anything that involves 'taking a risk/chance in a sensible way' are much the best sorts of people to feel enamoured towards Brexit.
Why?
Well, they can more easily feel optimistic about the future, once we've broken the shackles tying us to Europe, even though it involves risk.
Thirty or so years ago, my wife and I went on a 'British Rail Weekend' to London. Firtst Class Return rail tickets, nice hotel room, evening meals, theatre tickets, etc. etc, I'm sure you know the sort of thing.
Anyhow, we went shopping in 'Arrods, like wot you do, and they had a sale on. So we ended up buying some paintings from their art department. Three actually. And I had a bit of a haggle. I did pretty well for myself and seemed to be far better at getting a good deal for me, than the young gentleman, who served me, did for Harrods. I ended up getting one of the picture for free and even a bit more off as well.
Anyhow, back home, my sister took a look at these pictures and we told her about the shopping experience in Harrods.
"Ooooh! You didn't haggle with Harrods, did you? Oooh! I didn't think you could do that."
I'm pro-Brexit. My sister isn't. She wants to stay in the EU.
She has always been an employee and in 'education'. I've got a very experienced business history and background.
I'm trying to explain a bit of why we each think differently about things and particularly about Brexit. I hope you've got it.

Doubt there is anywhere in the UK that would have Farage as an MP. Remind yourselves of when he tried. The electorate didn't want him.
Faced with the option of having a UKIP MP not many areas jump at the chance.
Farage, no chance anywhere. Sarah wins at first attempt. Says it all.
