Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

BBC correspondent Paul Wood said Wednesday that there are multiple sources alleging Russia is in possession of potentially embarrassing or compromising material regarding President-elect Donald Trump. The initial reports on the matter, released late Tuesday, had hinged on a dossier prepared by a single source, identified Wednesday afternoon by The Wall Street Journal as former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele; Wood clarified that he had been told by someone involved in U.S. intelligence that at least one Eastern European intelligence agency also knew that Russia was in possession of such material, separate from Steele's document. "I got a message back that there was allegedly more than one tape, not just video, but audio as well, on more than one date, in more than one place, in both Moscow and St. Petersburg,"

It's not the 1950''s, who cares if Trump has been caught balls in a vice being pissed on by a couple of hookers. I fail to see what's wrong with that, it's hardly a Jimmy Saville video!

There's obviously lots of anti Trump people about , seems to be getting more intense as the day approaches . These people don't really believe in democracy if it doesn't give them the right result , as we know over here .

because V, the whole purpose of the exercise would be to create instability, it being almost irrelevant whether or not this "dossier" is based on fact

fred - all sorts of strange forces could be at work, as well you know ....... the russians certainly make an easy scapegoat, and that may indeed be where the responsibility lies, but that is not to rule out some us domestic parties either
who knows?
certainly not the average joe who will happily grab at almost any conspiracy theory or salacious story

Funny how Christopher Steele was hired independently (he now runs his own consultancy) after reading the link it starts to become a little more shady.
...................................
Mr Steele had been hired by a Washington firm to gather information on Mr Trump’s connections to Russia, funded at first by anti-Trump Republicans and, later, by Democrats. He also shared the information with the FBI.
