Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Exec,
The sobriquets I use are in response to contents of postings by a few on this thread.
They caricature for me how certain posters present themselves.
As posted before I think of myself, slightly left of the moderate political centre and certainly not a populist right wing radical as many on this thread appear to be.
(I question whether simple full blown “capitalist” theory has served its time.)
Also think it is reasonable to challenge or mock the populist right wing, whose philosophy and actions seem to be to challenge the coherence of an integrated society and the mutual benefits of such for their own personal short-term gains.
Nicknames are used to highlight the virtues of some of the posters for my ongoing amusement.
(Pompous Yes....)
-=-==
PS. I was born before WWW 2 and grew up after it seeing the craziness of some left wing expectations and practices during 50s.60s.70s and even later. But was even more aware of the fallacies of M. Thatcher and cohorts.

Basically you can't stand anything going on around you or want it , but fail to attempt to do anything about it for how long ? , never mind you must get pleasure out of being here or you don't get on with people of a similar type to you . I suppose you just like playing with people .

I left here for well over a year due to all the bollock's being posted and thread trashing. Haven't bothered to post any technicals since returning last week. I'm still reluctant to share any research on this site. There are a few decent apples here though.

you might want to take a look at FAR9 thread on ADVFN
it's nearly always sensible with some interesting posts and charts
one or two peeps occasionally try to get in a play silly buggers, but they just get blocked or filtered

I went to advfn for a few weeks but couldn't get on posting charts. I then had a twitter feed but found that rather annoying with all the notifications it sends you. In the end I settled for a small group of technical traders that use a closed group on watsapp to share research.

Some UP some DOWN
The world's financial watchdog revised its forecast for economic growth in Britain higher for 2017.
In an update of its World Economic Outlook, the Washington-based lender pegged the UK's rate of economic growth for this year at 1.5%, versus its previous estimate of 1.1%.
Britain's gross domestic product expanded at a 2.0% clip in 2016.
The IMF said the upwards revision was "mostly on account of a stronger-than-expected performance during the latter part of 2016".
However, its projection for 2018 was lowered by 0.3 percentage points to 1.4%.
Global growth was still seen at 3.4% in 2017 and 2018.

At least with Cynic and Goldfinger they post when buying and selling verifying their positions and any profit and loss. Many others here just make wild claims then go quiet when the market goes against their ramblings.
