Cheers for your post your NCS has put shells in the spot light 300% up last week it may side step till more news looks like I have missed the boat on that one. With shells you really do have to use money you don't mind loosing. MYA Myratech.net has its Chairman as Michael Jackson thats enough to put any one off. The one I was looking at was avc.

Driver, MYA could be a bit of a Thriller then?!

As I understand it, AVC is not a cash shell company but a split capital investment trust, but don't take my word for it. It is not a company that I would invest in but that is only because I don't need another company to loose my money with their investments when I can do a pretty good job of loosing it with my own investment choices!!

There could still be some upside with NCS, as Daves Dazzlers says, Howard dose seem to have the midas touch.

I still fancy SUN as being a medium sort of mover over the next few weeks, results are due on 10 April and should, repeat should!, provide good reading. But there again....who knows?

Ah yes!ACV. Not much cash in the box there. Did they ever announce the result of the EGM on 24 January? Could be worth a punt at the sp level though.

Plenty of freeing up of stock on NCS,sadly no direction today,which is a good sign i think in a iffey market,,onwards and upwards 5p would be nice..

NWD could be gwd after restucturing their borrowing. Flying at the moment.

Admin expenses increasing as the life expectancy of the company decreases Driver, you are right...not good! The punt size has gone down to half of my pocket money!!! Probably not worth paying the deal commission on this one. You watch the sp rocket now I've said that!

They are a bit of a joke these companies surely you put the balance in the bank and it earns interest and goes up not down.

They earn interest but then you have the directors, chief execs and anyone else who can lay claim on shareholders cash, paying themselves a big fat wages cheque to 'administer' the company! I am a little cynical perhaps and certainly not all cash shell companies can be looked at with doubt. Hopefully the present clear out will get rid of all the scummy ones! Got in and out of NWD too quickly today, but there you go - at least I can treat the good lady to a nice meal out!

No mention of HML here. iii BB is swamped with ramps. Just been back to iii and a panic seems to be setting in!

Quite like the look of IHP, probably won't light up the world but claim to have some good contracts in the offing. Stuck 700 on it, so if anyone has these shares....get out now it can only go down now I've bought!!

I'm interested in biotechs at the moment--anyone noticed the sharp rise in HML sp and also very large buys going through over the last two days in ERX. exciting prospects in both companies IMO-maybe good news coming. anyone else in these??
