Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

re- Genetics
Just yesterday I was talking on much the same terms as you said, the case was about "gypsies" were once too often they marrying inside the tribe and then one can see the consequences.
My end on the speech is this case was, the animals in the jungle in a way they are much clever in this matter than us, where you can see the mother of the male springs will be pushing them away from the clan so no inbreeding takes place.

You still get inbreeding within the muslim religion, where first cousins
marry each other, that's why you have an over representation of genetic
disorders in their communities.

it certainly happens quite a lot though it is not specifically encouraged by Qran
it is or was common among the jews too, and if i researched a little, i'm sure that an element of this was encouraged in the old testament, though there was good reason - eg marrying your brother's widow gave her protection within a small tribal community

There is no inbreeding on marrying your brother's widow
They are related after the first marriage, but there is no genetics inbreeding for the new couple

you're right .... silly me
however, from the little i have quickly dug up, marriage even to first cousins is or was deemed acceptable

No European country prohibits marriage between first cousins. It is also legal throughout Canada and Mexico to marry your cousin. The U.S. is the only western country with cousin marriage restrictions. It is estimated that 20 percent of all couples worldwide are first cousins.

Cousin marriage is common in the Middle East, for instance, where it accounts for over half of all marriages in some countries. In some countries outside that region, it is uncommon but still legal. In others, it is seen as incestuous and is legally prohibited: it is banned in China and Taiwan, North Korea, South Korea, and in less than half of the United States.[

Should John Bercow ( point of order ) be HANG?
after his comments about Mr Trump's in the Commons on Monday
Mr Bercow said he was opposed to the president addressing both Houses of Parliament
I thought he should be a referee at the commons so his neutrality was not in evidence at such a time

Bercow wants to worry about what his wife is getting up to ,she is an embarrassment .

re - Bercow/embarrassment
certainly there is too much leeway on their relationship
marriage of convenience?
A celebrity once said " I am still young and already married 3 times.
Every individual is different in how they do things, but obviously one of my husbands liked to dress as a woman."

and I have just come across another one on the "oil man" report
And finally…
Very little on the sporting front today, but I am always impressed by the wit of followers of the blog on Twitter.
Yesterday, after the unnecessary intervention of the Speaker of the House of Commons into the Trump debate, I received a Tweet saying, all is not lost regarding the Donald in the Chamber, imagine his surprise when he Googles"'Burcow wife"….

good right wing american source - as usual
meanwhile
i am rather sad that so little of this BB is now used for the dissemination and discussion of company news and info
for example, both RIO and TLW announced results today, but not a peep
no wonder so few remain as regular posters
