Such a force may have arisen in Sweden with the Sweden Democrats, a nationalist party which is demanding the country exit the European Union and limit immigration. And Davis argues there is still time for Europe to save itself – even Sweden.

“However serious, it is easy to exaggerate the problem of Islam in Europe,” Davis said. “While the Muslim population is growing much more rapidly than the native, it is still quite small, less than 5 to 10 percent in most countries. What it requires is a frank examination of Islam as a political-religious ideology that is absolutely incompatible with non-Islamic systems of governance. Once this fact is recognized, Western governments can treat Islam as a hostile political force that must be contained both at home and abroad.

“Without this recognition, Sweden and other Western governments will continue to allow themselves to be subverted and outmaneuvered by Muslim activists who possess none of their ‘multicultural’ scruples. While we must unflinchingly point out the seriousness of the situation, we must not give in to despair that the situation is beyond remedying – in Sweden or in the rest of Europe.”

cynic just like the liberal elites of countries like Sweden, shove their heads
in the sand and deny all and everything that relates to immigrants, particularly
regarding muslims, and even have laws to prohibit the disclosing of crimes
committed by immigrants.

As to cynics claim that Sweden have/are limiting the entry of immigrants is,
just another denier statement, last year Sweden said they intended to deport
80.000 immigrants back to their homelands, the only trouble with that is, they
don't know where most of these immigrants come from, they destroyed their
paperwork/passports on their way over from Africa via the free ferry service
provided by the EU countries, and once there, they claimed they were all Syrian
refugees, and under the ECHR they can't deport them.

And even if ALL immigration was stopped today, demographics dictate that in
a few short years muslims will become more dominant in numbers, and once
they get to around 20% of the population they WILL start making all the
decisions.

In the early 1930s, the mood in Germany was grim. The worldwide economic depression had hit the country especially hard, and millions of people were out of work. The party's rise to power was rapid. my observation was primarily that certain people here only ever quote from right of genghis sources, while others from left of mao

that said, the mood in sweden is not happy, though it is relatively mild compared to some of the hard nationalist tendencies being displayed in countries like austria and hungary

i believe that one of the problems in sweden, is not so much to do with religion per se, but that the arabic communities (which as it happens are generally muslim) tend to stick in their own enclaves (ghettos) rather than integrating ...... however, that is equally true of almost any immigration bloc across the centuries ..... it takes 2 or even 3 or 4 generations for at least substantial integration to happen

i don't know where my grandparents on both sides lived when they first came to uk at the turn of 20th century, but by the time my mother was born in 1920, her parents were already firmly established in harrogate, and my father's family were in bayswater ...... both parents were educated in normal british schools

however, there are still strong jewish ethnic enclaves in various boroughs of london and leeds, and no doubt elsewhere too
this is a both a strength and a weakness, but that is an entirely different discussion
