The 30-second advert for this weekend's Wales v England rugby game asked "What's Good About England" and showed Welsh fans struggling to come up with an answer.

But BBC Wales' attempt at 'banter' backfired spectacularly when furious viewers described it as "racist" and "pathetic" in a series of complaints.

The trailer was made to promote the broadcaster's coverage of the Six Nations game in Cardiff on Saturday when Wales play the current Grand Slam holders.

What is the way to stop all those "Bl..dy Mary "women ( others call them "beaches" most likely Labour supporters ) trying again and again speaking up from those refugees, that on my opinion are not.
Most of those 90% are women, they have a more caring attitude than men ( good ), but they sure are overdoing the job in this case.

1- UK just voted against more immigrants coming to the UK
2- Those youngsters, most are not, are the same age that now are planting bombs in Europe, another one today
3- I have seeing some of those refugees saying that in the UK can finished their studies ........ what?
4 -- One way is stopping giving money to community sponsors of refugees.


High Court challenge to UK's child refugee efforts

Campaigners will challenge the government's handling of the arrival of unaccompanied child refugees from Europe, at a High Court hearing later.
They say ministers have not worked with local councils to find enough places for vulnerable children.

Separately, the daughter of the man called "Britain's Schindler" has criticised the ending of the "Dubs amendment" child refugee scheme.
Ministers argue the arrangement is "a pull" for children and traffickers.

Why would we take any migrants from France. It is irrelevant whether they are refugees or economic migrants. They are not in a war zone. They are in a country no less safe than the UK. Their wish to come here is not sufficient. The more we take in from France, the more will gravitate to Calais and other ports. This is never explained properly. The attraction of the UK is its economy and the fact that many of the migrants speak English. Neither of these factors is sufficient.

95% of them are economic migrants plain and simple, and most want to come
to the UK for the benefits, housing etc.

Seeing has its the EU's policy of not returning these migrants from where they
came, then by EU law they should be processed in the first country they land in,
thats usually Italy(free ferry service provider) and Greece/Malta.

I am in favour of taking genuine refugees from war zones, which is why I liked Cameron's method to take vetted candidates from the camps. People try and make a comparison to the kinder transport. The problem is that those children were being brought from a danger zone and not from a safe haven like France.

Britain will remain under the jurisdiction of the European court of justice for years to come if it seeks a transition deal to cushion its withdrawal from the EU, the chief negotiator for the European parliament has said.

In the clearest sign to date that Britain is on a collision course with Brussels over the court, Guy Verhofstadt said European negotiators were primed to push back against Theresa May’s promises to remove the UK from the writ of European judges as soon as Britain leaves the EU in 2019.

Verhofstadt, who is representing the parliament in the article 50 negotiations, said he expected a transition agreement to be put together following the settling of Britain’s debts and before withdrawal in 2019.


But asked whether the UK would remain under the European court of justice after 2019, the former Belgian prime minister said: “The starting point from the European side will be yes.”
