THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

TANKER might be right after all:

oh really???

an excerpt reads
he claimed that of these 500 million conservative Muslims, at least – and probably more – than 50 million are willing to sanction violence.

i don't see anything verifying this and other of his (pretty rabid) assertions in any way - ie in his opinion

Chris Carson - 13 Feb 2017 11:21 - 76115 of 81564

The voice of reason has spoken chaps! Are you a Liberal voter cyners, and at the last count just how many splinters have you got in your arse talking fence here? LOL!!!

cynic - 13 Feb 2017 11:31 - 76116 of 81564

as you said, the voice of reason

worldwide, there are far too many muslims who tacitly or otherwise support (quite) radical islam, which is not just isil-related either
certainly, there are far too few imams speaking up loudly enough in condemnation of this radicalism, promoting instead the far more tolerant face of the "true message"

however, we should not be that surprised, as there was noticeable silence by the clergy of all sides when the irish sectarian violence was in full swing
similarly, in israel and in the wider world with regard to the treatment of the palestinians

re - migrants-muslims-violence-terror

On any weakes of the law, someone is going to take advantage of that, and that is the case here, the EU and even the USA were Trump is trying to tackle.

This cases are exploited by the East Europeans once they got on the EU, sending beggars, thieves and prostitutes by organize gangs by the thousands not only on the Uk but also the rest of the rich countries of the EU.

The case of muslims is much the same on the hope that once here eventually can cause trouble for the natives and slowly taking over different places of power from were to get yet more laws being change on there favour

The more notorious cases now and recently are..

Obama - helping the black population with money, laws ( one of them Obama care ) and the last straw, leniency of prisoners on last week of office

London Mayor Sadiq Khan, with time you can see the way is going also, lately having some weakness toward his race
(Nigel Farage accuses London Mayor Sadiq Khan of hypocrisy for attacking Trump's immigration ban while entertaining ELEVEN diplomats from countries that bar Israelis)

UPDATE: UKIP has responded to Mason’s diatribe. The party’s Media Spokesman Patrick O’Flynn said:

“Paul Mason has lifted the lid on what the radical left think about long time Labour voters who have lost faith with that party and moved across to UKIP. He thinks they are “toe-rags”, presumably for feeling a sense of patriotism, for feeling concerned about open door immigration and for supporting Brexit.

“Any voters who care about these issues but were pondering whether to still vote Labour have their answer: Mr Mason and the radical metropolitan left think they are scum. We in UKIP understand and share their concerns and will always treat them with respect.”

I think Mr Mason and his loony lefties are scum and have hijacked the Labour Party and made them unelectable.

Seems he's timed his outburst just before the Lords get back , so the weekend press can go all nuts over him .

Do you mean in a democracy you won't accept dissent?

Roll on the 30s.

VICTIM - 17 Feb 2017 08:26 - 76124 of 81564

No , do you mean in a democracy you don't accept the majority voted OUT .

Fred1new - 17 Feb 2017 08:34 - 76125 of 81564

When I am going somewhere I like to know where I am going and where I am likely to end up.

I dislike cons and con artists.

Also, dislike those who shout democracy when they infer dictatorship or power by intimidation and call it the "will" of the "people".

VICTIM - 17 Feb 2017 08:36 - 76126 of 81564

Yet again YOU DIDN'T VOTE did you .

Fred1new - 17 Feb 2017 08:44 - 76127 of 81564

That does not stop me or others having an opinion.

Nor does it disallow me or others from expressing those opinions even if opposing the views and tactics of a bullyboy mob.

VICTIM - 17 Feb 2017 08:53 - 76128 of 81564

Bullyboy mob eh . Just because a certain amount of posters on here want out of EU , we are classed as a bullyboy mob then .

I hope you have save up, the Council does not like scroungers from the Labour party to have their funeral paid by them.

iturama - 17 Feb 2017 09:58 - 76130 of 81564

Flicking thro the channels and most seem to have Blair giving his anti Brexit views. Then I thought what did Blair get right in his time in office? Helped cause the rise of the raghead nutters, gave way to the bullying of Bruin, and left the country broke. So I carried on flicking. He is not worth listening to and is simply feeding his own ego.
oh and he promoted the multi-cultural Britain lark.

About time they think about the locals, Imports are not good for the balance sheet of the country either ..........

Morrisons Launches Campaign To Find More UK Food Suppliers

LONDON (Alliance News) - Wm Morrison Supermarkets PLC on Friday said it has started a search to sign up new local food producers in the UK, following a report which indicated an appetite amongst British consumers for more local food.

Morrisons said its "The Nation's Local Foodmakers" campaign will see it try to recruit over 200 new suppliers in England, Scotland and Wales in the first year. It has invited foodmakers to pitch the company via a series of 12 regional events, the first of which will take place in Yorkshire on March 14.

The grocer said the move follows the publication of the British Food report by the University of Leeds, which found only 52% of food eaten in the UK is produced by local farmers.

Separate research from Morrisons found 67% of the 2,000 UK shoppers it surveyed would like to buy food produced in the UK.

"Our customers tell us they want to see more food that is made just down the road from their own communities and that's why we are looking for the next generation of British and local foodmakers to serve our 12 million customers," said Morrisons Chairman Andy Higginson.
