Hi y'all,
I'm impressed with that pivot chart you posted zarif.
The Dow S1 & R1 looked almost spot on.
My long (9749) looking a bit ropey at the moment but the plan is to stay in to the bitter end, no point having one otherwise.
See you at the close.

Snoball i have got 2 longs open at 9740/9760. Ithink (hope) that it will perk up -or someone better put a rocket up dows a+++ and light the fuse. With all this good data floating about it should be flying.tthen again we should learn to ignore the "NOISE".
same as u going to hang in till the end as cant desert ship in a storm.

short open at 9775 -lets see what happens-took its time getting up -now lets see if its true that things fall faster than going up.Especially as they must be full of liquid shorts from the winebar by full measures. Only a small foray at 2/pt.stp 36pts

Hi Guys,
Just arrived in. What a rollercoaster ride it's been today. Must have been a few
whipsaws today. Glad I wasn't in the market.
I'm only in long if it gets to 9854 (which is looking doubtful)but may have a punt if an opportunity presents itself.
Regards, Harlosh

Yo y'all,
My long looking healthier now.
Good luck with the shorts zarif.
Harlosh, why 9854? It could be closer than you expect. Is that a Fibonacci level or something?

Is it going to get to 9800 before the close?
That's my target.
I've moved my stop up to break even. No point in giving anything back.

Hi everyone,
Had to abandon the PC at 8.50pm as those thieving b******s had broken into my shop through the roof. At that time in the evening! Would you believe it? Fortunately the alarm sent them packing but only just got back in after effecting repairs etc.
Snowball,
No it's not Fib. I will reveal it to you in due course but for now I need to
keep it close to my chest. Don't know if it will work yet.

Harlosh -Sorry to hear about the shop. As i know from experience this kind of activity starts to increase around this time and Booze and Cigs are cash to them and we have to suffer,in many cases its not even worth claiming on the insurance as the premiums will go up and the hassle of it all when they make you feel like a criminal.

Thanks Zarif, Snowball for your kind words.
We've got three potential buyers so hopefully it will be off our backs in a few weeks then I can concentrate and put all my efforts into this malarkey.
Anybody any thoughts on the best place to start? I have been buying and holding shares for several years but this trading thing is pretty new to me.
Do I:
Read books. I I'm partially sighted now following a brain tumour so the thought of reading a 300 page tome does not inspire me. I am considering however, buying Come into my Trading Room by Elder and the one by Lefevre about Jesse Livermore. OR
Do I pay to attend courses and seminars (Robert Newgrosh. Expensive but you have to start somewhere but I know on their own they will not make me a trader.
Apologies for the off topic subject but thought it might help ease the withdrawal symptoms of a closed Dow
Regards
Harlosh
