Morning John

Opened a dodgy $/Yen short last night at 741, something of a knee jerk reaction, had to slap myself on the wrist! Doubled up a little later at 761, just closed the first trade (+9) and moved my stop on the second to guarantee (+10), can go for a coffee now:)

Stopped out for +18.5, think I might have got me stop just a little too close to the top of the channel :S

Never mind Pete, a profit's a profit but got to give room for them to breath.

Must say though, I hate to see profit drift away from me cos I got out too soon.

Got myself all muddled up today to be honest, closed shorts far too early, and then got my timings all wrong when opening a new trade which has resulted in -46 pips, however still up overall on the day and still short on the Yen/$. See what happens next.

+55 as it turned out. Should be happy, but after all the messing around, quite disappointed really. Back to drawing lines and reading those rules :S

Managed to nick another +15 last night, so quite a profitable two days. All I have to do now is make sure I don't give it all up. My lines tell me support is at 11525, so short again for the moment.

EUR/USD - Speculative positioning in the EUR/USD has remained net short for most
of the last five months but recently the ratio has been growing less net short.
The ratio of longs to shorts is -1.70 as 62.9% of the currently open orders are
short. Long orders are 7.1% higher than yesterday and 0.9% stronger since last
week. Short orders are 6.4% higher than yesterday and 24.1% stronger since last
week. Open interest is 6.6% stronger than yesterday and 29.2% above its monthly
average. Looking ahead, the contrarian nature of the SSI continues to call for
EUR/USD strength.

Overnight changes seem to be against the dollar rather than the yen for a change?
