THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Sorry Maxk you've lost me with that .

d abbott voted in from like to like voters regardless, of ability job for life. no qualafications needed, I'm wishing i had done the same what an easy life. BB

Well there's only one side in the Brexit argument wanting constructive talks, and it's not the EU. Our 'May-ed of Steel' is showing the Brussels brigade for what they are, a bunch of bullies.
They never learn, it was such tactics that turned many away from the EU in the referendum.

Haystack - 03 May 2017 16:01 - 76644 of 81564

As I said earlier

BBC breaking news

"May accuses the EU of making threats to influence the election".

Haystack - 03 May 2017 16:02 - 76645 of 81564

Those tactics will hand May a bigger victory

2517GEORGE - 03 May 2017 16:20 - 76646 of 81564

Here's hoping

cynic - 03 May 2017 16:36 - 76647 of 81564

if brexit is your overriding concern in the GE, then the sabre rattling can work in either direction depending on your starting point

2517GEORGE - 03 May 2017 16:45 - 76648 of 81564

I think Brexit has to be the main concern in the GE, like it or not if the Tories lose (can't really see that), then we revert to the status quo and be ruled again by Brussels where you can bet on being punished for daring to leave the EU in the first place.

cynic - 03 May 2017 17:08 - 76649 of 81564

you're right of course george, though there are many other serious and pressing issues - that the tories have not tackled well - that will be pushed into the corner

Fred1new - 03 May 2017 17:14 - 76650 of 81564

The tories are trying to camouflage their failures and diverting attention to Brexit.

Maybe is becoming as obnoxious as Trump and even less trustworthy. Her words and lack of future planning is becoming more and more obvious.

She shows a prime example of how not to negotiate strategically.

She would make a fitting leader for UKIP.

2517GEORGE - 03 May 2017 18:14 - 76651 of 81564

Post 76650
The Tories have had their failures, but look how well the opposition have capitalised on them, what until just 7 years ago was a governing party has turned itself into the most dysfunctional, unelectable bunch of ne'er do wells to sit in Westminster.

You know absolutely nothing about her future planning, what makes you think YOU should know what her plans are?

As for negotiation, you know diddley squat about them, or are you an insider.

grannyboy - 03 May 2017 19:50 - 76652 of 81564

"or are you an insider"

Yes..Inside Juncker and verhofstadt...he's well known around the corridors of
Brussels as chief bum boy..

Dil - 03 May 2017 20:33 - 76653 of 81564

Another good day for May and the Tories.

Dil - 03 May 2017 20:34 - 76654 of 81564

If this were a boxing match it would be in danger of getting stopped soon.

Haystack - 03 May 2017 20:57 - 76655 of 81564

If it was a game of chess, Labour would have resigned last week.

Fred1new - 03 May 2017 21:54 - 76656 of 81564

The Tories wouldn't have started a game.

They would still be arguing about the rules and who was allowed to play.

mentor - 03 May 2017 23:11 - 76657 of 81564

JUST A JOKE

Big P#ssy

I will give you a clue

"Corbyn ‘not embarrassed in the slightest’ over Abbott interview gaffe"

jimmy b - 04 May 2017 08:33 - 76658 of 81564

I listened to Abbott's radio interview with LBC last night , she would make a great Home Secretary wouldn't she Fred ??

cynic - 04 May 2017 08:45 - 76659 of 81564

The tories are trying to camouflage their failures and diverting attention to Brexit.
actually fred, it's the public who are showing that brexit is the most important issue to them in the upcoming election
