CMS Webview What is the potential for this share ? (CWV)

GEOFFREY.R - 01 Nov 2003 16:46

I bought shares in this company at 4.5p in September 2003. I see they are rising. Can anyone tell me please the growth potential for this company as they have just been awarded several new contracts ?

I don't understand record show string of buys, many buy and the buy/sell ratio around 10x and price going down!

Hmhm .... is that allowed, that MM can run thing like this? I read the report about The DA guy in Newyork and the new power of FSA think UK should have them over here.

Or all the tricks are allowed and is fair play? Who can believe that ever demand\suply runs our market

nathan7 - 01 Dec 2003 13:52 - 772 of 1924

whats going on.news announced about the new contracts, vol and share price barely moved,l was under the impression this was the start of something big is this not so?sue where are you?

axe79 - 01 Dec 2003 14:49 - 773 of 1924

Forecast......After friday pivot point reversal ( that I posted elsewhere) expect to see further gains this week until at least Thursday.....Price should rise up to the 26p level, on increasing buying vol. Expect a slight retractment as it will need to take a slight breather before proceeding into the 30p region.

That is of course unless we get more good news in the meantime. I would not recommend that people try to play the peaks and troughs with this share, it is safer to sit and watch this one grow

All the best to every one

If they've installed 4000 terminals at 200/mth each, are we now saying cms t/o exceeds 10m?

allstar4eva - 01 Dec 2003 19:37 - 779 of 1924

I'm not a regular reader of this board but I have to say I'm extremely disappointed by the actions of SueHelen, having copied extracts of posts I made on the ADVFN CWV board last week he/she today edited the post made on Friday where he/she copied my post and passed it of as his/her opinion.

SueHelen this is a formal request for you to please explain your actions.

I think your behaviour has been dishonest and this is an opportunity for you to come clean and put the record straight.

happy to watch - 01 Dec 2003 21:00 - 780 of 1924

Assume 20 traders at Nidera are to use ProphetX that's 20 * 200 GBP * 12 months gross income per annum or 48,000 GBP. What people don't talk about is the margin made - gross income is not translated to 100% profit. Since this is a re-sale of someone else's product, albeit on an exclusive arrangement, we could suggest a margin of 30%. This is typical for a bespoke service.

So that amounts to 15,400 GBP income per annum not taking into account the one off sales effort - hardly something to shout about. Which is what sensible people have realised after the initial announcement sent the price firmer earlier today.

For the more optimistic try a margin of 50% and 30 traders (Nidera is not big league, surprised if they have more than a dozen traders but can someone qualify?)

Clearly, CWV is keen to please investors, of which I am one, but this announcement is just plain silly for a company about to raise between 1.5 and 2.5 million GBP.

thestatusquo - 01 Dec 2003 21:46 - 781 of 1924

Thanks Happy for your honest evaluation of the figures announced today.

My personal opinion is that the company will have to announce better news on revenues if the price is to progress after dilution.

The company has managed the timing of its announcements superbly.

Share price languishes for months. Company wishes to raise capital. A tip appears in a share mag. Price rallies massively on this tip. Bulletin board buzzes. Private investors drive price higher. Price reaches a peak and then starts to drift back down for a few days. After continued retracement from peak, fundraising is announced.

The fundraising announcement puts a marker in the sand at 15.25pence.

Now Axe? I would like to ask you, on what basis do you predict 26pence by Thursday, a 70% rise in 3 days? Is it a valuation measure? Is it technical analysis? Is it momentum trading? Is it volume?

Or is it as I suspect, merely a wild guess. You have derided opinions contrary to your own as being somewhat un-educated. Perhaps you would educate me by answering any of the above.

SueHelen - 01 Dec 2003 22:04 - 782 of 1924

Hi guys,

What a day, being at university can be tiring. I had to hand in my interim report for my final year project and I successfully managed to hand it in.

With regards to CWV one of the contracts I was hoping for has been announced today and another one should follow suit in near future. Some have questioned why the price was at 14.5-16 pence for most of the day. I believe the fundraising will be at these prices hence I don't expect the price to go lower from these levels. The fundraising confirmation will be accompanied with a very good trading statement as I have iterated before. Hence these prices are very cheap! In addition, possibly another contract could be announced together with those two annoucements. A note(strong buy rating) from Corporate Synergy is due soon too.
CWV will be ready to surge again very soon!

Could come sooner than later, a good indicator was that the how many one could buy online was limited to 25,000 shares and one could sell 100,000 at an improved bid price of 15 pence. This is a good sign that MMs would like to get some stock on their books at this price and not let too much stock off their books.

With regards to allstar4eva's comments, I hope you go back to the start of the thread and see how long I have been holding this stock. I have explained my prediction of 50 pence by Christmas as you questioned which I am still expecting as I was expecting the fundraising which has been announced, more contract announcements, of which one was announced today and I am hoping for much more to come. I have always clearly stated what I was expecting for my price predictions. Two of the announcements have come through now. I may have looked at one of your post (just the one) but my judgements have been my own and that is the way I have conducted my posts over the last month. I hope you do not hold any grudges against me, and I apologise if my actions have caused any incovenience to you.

GoodNight fellow CWV holders and other fellow investors.

Best Wishes,

Sue.

thestatusquo - 01 Dec 2003 22:13 - 783 of 1924

Hi Sue,

Have been an avid reader of your posts. Cant fault your enthusiasm for this one!

But:-

On what basis do you put this stock at 50 pence in 3 weeks time?
A 233% rise in three weeks from now?

The information you have posted on this board, whilst very thorough and very helpful(thank you and please dont stop!) is information that all of us can find - it is public domain.

What do you know that the rest of us dont? Do you disagree that the revenue generated from the contract announcement today is actually quite small? These aren't big numbers.

The market is big - granted - but these arent big announcements Sue.

Best regards
TSQ.

SueHelen - 01 Dec 2003 22:22 - 784 of 1924

Hi TSQ, just caught me before I have a nap.

The bigger announcements I am expecting are at the turn of the year are on the TDI products. These will start to come through as they break into America. What you are seeing at the moment is the company moving onto the next platform. Fundrasing first, ProphetX contracts, and then they will breaking into America. That has been the goal of the company for a long time and now it is about to become a reality. This could mean huge revenues coming in and by the time the results are announced in Spring next year I expect their products to be at an even stronger end of the market. By Spring I have predicted the price to be at 1.00. This is solely based on the TDI announcements I hope will come fruit but as we got into the new year it should become more clearer.

What you need to look at it the licences are coming through thick and fast now for ProphetX. It's been a slow process for all this time but it is happening for the company now. I would now expect the contracts/licences all to come thick and fast in the future.

I don't really want to compare with other companies but Gresham had enormous price rises on the back of their breakthrough!

GoodNight.

Sue.

happy to watch - 01 Dec 2003 22:31 - 785 of 1924

Sue, have to say that even another deal announcement like today doesn't make much of an impact to turnover or EBIT. So don't get too carried away, I hope your predictions are correct but these deals are just normal transactions to support salaries and other costs of running a business. If anything, reporting them with fanfare only serves to arouse suspicion that the management team is stretching it's good fortune over the last couple of months a little too far.

game_boy - 01 Dec 2003 23:14 - 786 of 1924

thestatusquo & happytowatch.....guys if you don't understand what is really driving CWV by now...may I suggest you have not done your own research and really should go back to the playground....

SueHelen has done an excellent job in keeping people on this board appraised of her own research into the company and the market reaction over the past few weeks...including her own observations and analysis of what has been said elsewhere....which I have already suggested to allstar4eve should be taken as a complement and applauded for initiative...not berated in a self centred way....

If anyone has serious doubts about the future viability of CWV I would invite you to air your views on a somewhat more vocal and aggressive board on a d v f n .....I have found this board on moneyam to be of a more discerning nature...and I would challenge any derampers to come and have the discussion elsewhere anytime....as I do not have the time to occupy two boards all day....

Well done SueHelen...keep up the good work...and enjoy your profits !!

martincoops - 02 Dec 2003 06:47 - 787 of 1924

Hi Sue

Keep up the good work, it is thanks to your informative posts over the last few weeks that I am in this excellent position and reaping the rewards.

Cheers
