Galleon Holdings (GON)

banjomick - 15 Jun 2004 08:48

INTELLIGENT INVESTING WITH BANJO,well sort of! (Ed-hmmmm-lol)

Galleon Holdings plc has three key divisions:Galleon Entertainment for entertainment type IP,Croco Worldwide for product IP,Phoenix for interactive TV services for broadcasters in China/South East Asia which includes Robot Information Technology (Lushy Assets ('Yunbo')) who are a wireless interactive platform service provider in China who will work alongside Phoenix to enable GON to hold on to a greater part of the generated revenue and so increase the profit margin......think that's the plan! :-)

This makes Galleon Holdings a 'One Stop Shop' to develop and complete new and existing IP's.

25 October 2007

Galleon Holdings plc

('Galleon' or the 'Company')

Galleon Receives Supply Order for Latin America

Galleon is pleased to announce, on behalf of its Product IP Division that,
further to the successful international roll out in the last year of its wholly
owned toy intellectual properties 'Blasterz' and 'Boinx', Pepsico has
commissioned a test order for Latin America valued at 800,000.

Galleon has been awarded 'Approved Supplier' status by Pepsico for in-pack
premiums in Latin America - the largest region in the world in the in-pack
premiums market. The board anticipates that this initial test order represents
approximately 20% of the value of a full promotion for this region.

Stephen Green, Chief Executive, commented,

'We are delighted to be doing business in Latin America. The emerging markets
are the largest users of the type of products that we create in our Product IP
Division ('Croco'). The ability to supply to customers such as Pepsico in this
region has the potential to re-scale Croco's business.

This is a very encouraging start to our new financial year.'

A splendiferous day to be sure,Toya.

I wonder if they bought anything off GON?

"MUMBAI: SaharaOne's world television channel Firangi, which would air international content from across the globe, has made the best out of its visit to Mipcom.

According to the channel's business head Rajeev Chakrabarti, the channel has acquired a whopping 2,000 hours of content, thus completing its first phase of acquisitions."

Hansard who do the Financial PR for GON have been very quiet with the last update on their website being 08/05/2007 !

Krackett - 27 Oct 2007 00:17 - 776 of 1609

All this good news, yet little buying and no price increase....

What's your opinion on why this is?

banjomick - 27 Oct 2007 23:28 - 777 of 1609

Evening Krackett,
My opinion,for what it's worth:

1.Read through this thread and ignore my silly bits, this will give an insight into the bad old days.

2.Green,Dunne and Wong changed the direction along with injecting monies.

3.Old IP's thrown out with new realistic IP's and joint ventures taking there place.

4.Croco doing amazingly well over the last year or so.

The main point is that GON has massive potential but there are still no black and white figures for revenue, sales ect ect ect.The good news is that the 'big players' appear to be involved now, which shows a lot of faith or they have a greater insight into GON's future prospects than I do.

GON is still high risk as the above shows, relating to the SP at the present time as it's all on potential!

The fact that last weeks share issues have all but been taken up shows great promise for the future.

I will reply in greater detail another night-lol

Mick

It looks to me that Skunk is being moved out of the KidsWB block that has been subcontracted and is going on to the main network. Good news I agree but it would suggest it isn't a new channel but a move from its existing slot

I could be wrong...ask GON

banjomick - 30 Oct 2007 08:19 - 780 of 1609

Morning Peter and cheers.I'll have a look tonight but sounds about right.

banjomick - 30 Oct 2007 08:25 - 781 of 1609

Of more interest is that 8 million via a share placing has been taken up by institutions and 'other' investors-imo
This shows great confidence for the future-imo

banjomick - 31 Oct 2007 01:01 - 782 of 1609

1. Skunk Fu-Animation from Cartoon Saloon which GON have a 15% stake in with a clause to increase but no other details. They own the world merchandising rights, excluding Germany as they bought a bigger share.
SF was first aired in Australia and is still being repeated ie first series, followed by the UK and then the USA and still being shown/repeated,first series.

Merchandising which I thought wrongly would be this year but has been planned all along for back end of next year, which is fair enough as the powers that be know more about this than a mere banja player........obviously!

SF will have it's first airing in the rest of Europe before the year is out-fact!

I believe the profit from this IP to be in the region of 2-10 million per year!

2.Apollo's Pad-A 360' platform ie covers all media formats.Launched this month whether officially or not via the internet and displayed on a few of the big players eg Youtube,Facebook and Bebo. The TV series or link is forecast for early 2008.

http://www.indiantelevision.com/headlines/y2k7/sep/sep267.php

3.Sokator-442-A 360' platform that I believe will be the big one but could be wrong of course!Still in early stages or kept secret..................perhaps!

The link below explains better than I could:

http://www.indiantelevision.com/headlines/y2k7/sep/sep384.php

4.Mysti-Leave that to GON's announcement below but this is a proven IP and there is no reason why it can't take centre stage again-imo.

http://www.advfn.com/p.php?pid=nmona&cb=1193790704&article=22356144&symbol=L%5EGON

5.Croco-GON's savior with an estimated 7.6 million (at least) of sales in the last year, not profit!Last announcement below:

http://www.advfn.com/p.php?pid=nmona&cb=1193791118&article=22904486&symbol=L%5EGON

6. hmmmmmmmmm, now we come to the other announcement that should maybe be at the top in the potential stakes!

"Phoenix specialises in the provision of interactive broadcast television
services which allow broadcasters in China and South East Asia to provide
interactive entertainment that their audiences can access through TV, online and
mobile. Its customers are leading broadcasters such as Hunan ETV, Hunan
Satellite, Guangdong Sports Channel (China) and Media Prima (Malaysia). Phoenix
is a company registered in the British Virgin Islands, with headquarters in Hong
Kong and also has offices in China and Malaysia. Phoenix was established in July
2007 by a team of experienced media executives who are at the forefront of
providing entertainment through mobile and interactive media in Asia."

Here is the link:

http://www.advfn.com/p.php?pid=nmona&cb=1193791250&article=22856533&symbol=L%5EGON

It's too late to go into the above but it looks very positive medium/long term with a few dips on the olde short term as things (a good word-lol) sort themselves out and further info. on all the above is released-imo.

Just me ramblings and just trying to quantify it all in a nutshell as it were but ended far too short due to time!

It's the AIM and this is still high risk but as said before the risk factor is decreasing day by day but be careful!

Forgot about Hoo Ha House,Pepper's Patrol and The Fomorian!Or even Astro Knights which what ever anyone says still looks good today as it did then!

GON have 8 million injected into the company, lets see what they can achieve.

Well,that was a long day!

Anyways just a reminder from earlier this year:

Galleon's IP unit receives major sales orders
Fri 13 Apr 2007

"LONDON (SHARECAST) - Intellectual property group Galleon said its entertainment IP division has received pre-sale orders for its comedy adventure series Sokator-442 from major TV broadcasters in Germany and Australia.
It is also in advanced discussions with a number of other buyers in key territories, it said in today's trading update."

And more importantly in the shorter term:

"Galleon's IP division said it is in negotiations in China and India over sales of its music animation property, Apollo's Pad"

http://www.sharecast.com/cgi-bin/sharecast/story.cgi?story_id=1202355

banjomick - 01 Nov 2007 18:30 - 786 of 1609

oooooooo that's good, just had a look on Apollo's Pad and you can now buy yes buy the MP3's for both War and I'm a believer for 99p each :-)

This is just the start and imagine the potential in China/India and the rest of the world for that matter! :-)

A similar format will be set-up for Sokator-442 in my opinion.

banjomick - 01 Nov 2007 23:23 - 787 of 1609

This is an interesting message from one of the links to youtube regarding 'I'm a believer':

"This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Sony BMG Music Entertainment"

From January 2007 and GON's Final Results:

"This new business model has already resulted in a global deal with Sony BMG who
will be our music partner providing access to music rights and catalogue as well
as the best artists and producers. Sony BMG will also be our partner in the
sales and marketing of the music videos we create on a global basis.
Conversations with TV, mobile and online partners are continuing on a territory
basis. The first content will be launched in quarter four 2007."

The only reason I can think of and a clue might be the inclusion of the buy facility for mp3's on the AP website today is that Sony BMG are looking to keep the video side to the AP website only but then why delete it from the AP site?I suppose it could be a link issue that is being addressed, will ponder-lol

Nothing to worry about as Apollo's Pad is still at an early stage and looks very promising for the future and especially when as they say, that the TV series will be out early 2008!
