as market waits to find who was the buyer.

Over 43 million traded I believe stable, most on plus. The RNS 's yesterday showed where some went, but not the bulk. Expect another RNS soon.

Jarvis has confirmed that Network Rail has notified the Company of its intention to significantly reduce its track renewals volumes and expenditure in the year to 31 March 2010.
The Company is one of four track renewal contractors and it is currently seeking clarification in respect of the likely effects and financial impact if this proposal is implemented.
The Jarvis share price reacted badly with several sales being initiated immediately after the announcement. The share price fell 29.0%,down 2.08p on the day to 6.52p "
Recovery of this stock seems a long way off. Avoid, imo.

Jarvis to pay first interim dividend

Stockbroker Jarvis Securities (JIM) is to pay a fist interim dividend of 3p per share.
Chairman and chief executive Andrew Grant will tell today's annual general meeting that while th current environment remains challenging daily average trade volumes are 20% higher than 2008.
March 2009 saw the highest monthly trade volume in the firm's history and client cash balances are 25% up since the end of last year.
Total funds under administration are 13% up on 31 December 2008 and a new spread-betting service is to be introduced shortly to expand the product
