Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Mother Theresa was looking a bit more shaky than usual when interviewed.
Perhaps her strength and strong rule act are beginning to fade.
Like to know what her Brexit negotiation goals are going to be, or will she be serving the tea?

Maybe she's had a tough week trying to catch terrorists Fred unlike Corbyn who couldn't catch a cold.
Fed up with this election now can't wait for it to be over and Mrs May can get back to getting us out of the EU.

You seem obsessed by money.
Unlike you I have no idea how the UK will do post Brexit other than a belief that we as a nation will rise to the challenge.
Even given an impact on our long term wealth as a Country what drives me is the desire to get back our sovereignty.
If the EU is to survive it will need to increase the pace of federalism with more and more power and control going from individual countries governments to a mostly unelected Brussels based bureaucracy.
No no no. i want the people making our laws and policies elected by us.
I don't care who they are as we can always boot them out if they get it wrong.
So I will vote for the party who has the best chance of achieving that and take the hit financially if that proves to be the case.
If I was Scottish I suspect I would be voting SNP just to get from under the English yoke for the same reason.

Theresa May retains lead in new poll taken after Manchester bombing
Exclusive: ComRes poll for The Independent puts the Conservatives 12 points ahead of Labour, despite growing support for Jeremy Corbyn over social care
John Rentoul |

Theresa May retains a 12-point lead in a ComRes opinion poll for The Independent – a finding that will steady Conservative nerves after a YouGov poll on Friday showed the lead narrowing to just five points.
Despite growing support for Labour and Jeremy Corbyn, notably over social care, the Conservatives are on 46 per cent and Labour on 34 per cent. Labour is up four points from the last ComRes poll two weeks ago, and the Conservatives down two, but the figures suggest Ms May is still heading for a majority of about 110.

Martini,
Glad to see you are still one of the "up and at 'em brigade"!
Restores my belief in social cohesion.

Max,
Although I don't think it is probable, I would like to see another coalition government.

Fred.
I see a coalition as the worst possible outcome, it's a recipe for disaster.
Corby wont win, no chance imo, but I'm not keen on Treesa either, as for the lib/turd faction...lol :-)

my prediction of a tory majority of 40/50 is looking increasingly accurate
