Vasey

I'll be in Warsaw next week... how about trying out your new passport and paying a visit? ;o)

vasey - 08 Mar 2003 22:09 - 773 of 23498

Good idea. Though I'll have to fly local airlines since we're both short BAY! What sort of work takes you to such exotic places?

andycarr - 08 Mar 2003 22:46 - 774 of 23498

Hi vasey

Yes, I figured, like you, with BAY being weak and probably about to be kicked out of the FTSE 100... worth a short.... had to do something to try and recover from my shocking ISYS trade.. a punt that went wrong, shame I had to hold for a week. We've got to get us Scots up on the top of the leaderboard!

I'm a musician, so part work...part holiday in Poland. Looking forward to it as I haven't been to E Europe before...

Will be good to have an enforced break from trading, although I might have a go if the Cybercafe there has Broadband and I can rent two screens!!!

Have a good day all, we're away to Gordons Bay for lunch [ excellent Lobbie

Back at 6pm to watch Saints beat Wolves on Sky in FA Cup [remember that event Jeffers!] lol...lw

Socrates - 09 Mar 2003 11:58 - 778 of 23498

Good morning all, much brighter in my part of Cheltenham than in Hightone's. But I'll grant you it is much later.

Do you believe in coincidence? No sooner had Hightone posted that he would be in Cheltenham by teatime yesterday than the local Police helicopter appeared and hovered around. Did they spot his Pontiac I wonder?

Hightone, I won't be in town today, doing a spot of gardening and other domestic chores but other days I'll be watching out for that Pontiac. If I see you you I'll give you a flash, so to speak. Dark green Rover 623, we may bump into each other (especially now I have new glasses). Which internet cafe did you decide on, was the list useful?

vasey - 09 Mar 2003 12:19 - 779 of 23498

Sun's starting to come out, jacket potatoes all oiled, seasoned and ready to go and the chicken is marinading in so much garlic, mustard, soy and spices even I can't smell all the varnish I applied to the floorboards yesterday.

jeffmack - 09 Mar 2003 12:24 - 780 of 23498

Socs
Thought you might not have returned from yesterdays shopping

HT
You old shark

Socrates - 09 Mar 2003 12:37 - 781 of 23498

Jeffmack, yes I returned, spent! Had lunch out so took a bit longer than normal, well it saves the washing up doesn't it.

vasey
Save one of those spuds and some chicken for me, they sound like a 10 on the scale of deliciousnessnessness!

I hope I haven't got hold of the wrong end of the stick, but is trading so bad you can't afford a carpet?

Golddog - 10 Mar 2003 13:36 - 782 of 23498

Hope you have a good week Hightone and back plenty of winners.

Littlewoman, Have a nice holiday!

I've been out on the Golf course this morning and to tell you the truth i really need some more lessons! Nice to be out in the fresh air (very fresh!)

hilary - 10 Mar 2003 13:38 - 783 of 23498

Littlewillie,

See you in Cardiff.

:-)

jeffmack - 10 Mar 2003 13:41 - 784 of 23498

Looks like an Arsenal V Southampton final

hilary - 10 Mar 2003 13:43 - 785 of 23498

The replay should be another cracker, Jeff.

jeffmack - 10 Mar 2003 13:51 - 786 of 23498

Hilary
Did you go? I enjoyed watching on TV, justice that Henry missed the penalty as it as a dive by Jeffers. Overall the right result, fantastic save by your keeper in the last minute.

Golddog - 10 Mar 2003 14:01 - 787 of 23498

Quick question? Is it possible in Excel spreadsheet to do this......

...In my first cell i want to transpose a value from either of two other cells depending upon whether another cell value is greater or less than another cell value? ie, if cell 2 value is greater than cell 3 value then cell 1 will show whats in cell 4. Or if cell 2 is less than that in cell 3 then cell 1 will show whats in cell 5. Ok? Im now going for a lye down.

hilary - 10 Mar 2003 14:04 - 788 of 23498

Jeff,

The boys went ...... I watched on TV. At half-time I thought that we were going to get slaughtered in the second half. I felt it was real "heart in mouth" stuff and great to watch and we deserved the draw. I'll go to the replay.

hilary - 10 Mar 2003 14:11 - 789 of 23498

GoldDog,

It's easypeezylemonsqueezy.

You need to use the IF(Cond,ValueIfTrue,ValueIfFalse) function.

eg. IF(cell2>cell3,cell4,cell5)

Golddog - 10 Mar 2003 15:08 - 790 of 23498

Ok Hilary i've worked it out thankyou.
