Pursuit Dynamics plc is a UK based research and development company, which was founded in 2000 to develop and commercialise a revolutionary pumping and propulsion technology. Pursuit Dynamics (symbol: PDX) was listed on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange in May 2001.
PDX 25 Sonic.
The PDX Technology is a steam-based system that has applications in both pumping and marine propulsion. It is cheap to manufacture, extremely robust, contains no moving parts and is virtually impossible to block. Pursuit Dynamics owns 100% of the Intellectual Property Rights that surround the PDX Technology.
Pursuit Dynamics is now working towards the commercialisation of the technology it has developed.

Picked up 10,000 shares @ 70.9p a share. Keeping an eye on the SP today. If it shows any sign of weakening I'm going to dump them. Simon Cawkwell reckons they have still much further to fall! He is not always right though, so I'm watching and waiting. Anybody else a bit nervous?

Share falling again, so now closed the deal @ 73.14p for just around 200 profit.
I'm too afraid of trying to catch a falling knife as they say.
If it falls to a new low I shall be in again.

Afternoon all.
I don't wish to rain on anyone's parade if they're enjoying themselves with this stock, but after a quick look at the Interims before popping onto this thread and reading the last 14 posts, I have to ask (and Confidant beat me to the quote!), "does this not give the impression of tanking like SEO at the moment?"
Loss for full year likely to be 3 mil; only 10 mil net assets, market cap still an ambitious 37 mil. The only good point in the figures is that they have virtually no debt.
Then there is the outlook: "Sales pipeline of firm orders and outstanding customer-requested quotes currently stands at a multiple of first half turnover, confirming continued growth in line with expectations." This appeared encouraging at first sight, but turns out on reading the recent trading statement to be only 0.6 mil.
I like the company's products in principle, but am wary of too much jam tomorrow (having been rendered fairly cynical by six months of watching SEO). However, this could be a bargain in the making and I will continue to watch and read with interest.
WDIK, PDYOR, etc.
PS - UC, I think you're well advised to be wary of catching a falling knife. It would take solid good news to create a sustained rise in the SP and for my money it wouldn't be worth getting involved before that situation became a reality.

Thanks, Soul Traders for confirming my own opinion at this time. I will stay on the sidelines and watch & wait like yourself. I too like the company's products which are revolutionary to say the least.
Regards, UC.

Pursuit Dynamics PLC
22 January 2007
Pursuit Dynamics PLC
('Pursuit Dynamics' or the 'Company')
Proposed Placing
Pursuit Dynamics PLC (AIM: PDX), the developer and licenser of the innovative
and patented PDX(R) platform technology, is pleased to announce a proposed
placing ('Placing') of 6,955,000 new ordinary shares of 1p each ('Placing Shares
') at 115p per share to raise approximately 8.0 million (approximately 7.6
million net of expenses) to fund the continued development of the Company.
Pursuit Dynamics now has one application of its technology (food and beverage)
demonstrating its commercial viability with a further three (brewing, fire
suppression and decontamination) near commercialisation with promising
programmes underway to develop other applications. Current trading continues to
be in line with expectations and the Directors consider that the Company has
sufficient cash resources to allow it to begin to generate positive cash flows
during the current financial year. However, the Directors consider that the
additional funds generated by the Placing will strengthen considerably the
balance sheet of the Company and enhance its position with customers, many of
which are substantial, multinational businesses or government agencies. It will
also enable the Company to progress its programmes for commercialisation of its
technology more rapidly. The Placing will also enable Pursuit Dynamics to meet
demand from institutional investors wishing to invest in the Company and will
broaden its shareholder base.
Pursuit Dynamics has entered into a placing agreement with Cenkos Securities
plc, pursuant to which Cenkos Securities plc has, on behalf of Pursuit Dynamics,
conditionally placed the Placing Shares with institutional investors.
Application will be made for the Placing Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM
and it is anticipated that admission will become effective and that trading in
the Placing Shares on AIM will commence on 15 February 2007.
An extraordinary general meeting of the Company, which is required to disapply
statutory pre-emption rights in relation to the allotment of the Placing Shares,
will be held at 11.00 a.m. on 14 February 2007. A circular containing a notice
convening the extraordinary general meeting and details of the proposed
Placing is expected to be dispatched to the Company's shareholders later today.
Separately, the Company's annual report for the year ended 30 September 2006 is
expected to be dispatched to shareholders during the week commencing 29 January
2007.
